Pet the doggie, pet the doggie, pet the doggie. Then pet the kitties. Pet the kitties some more. But be careful because kitties are sharp.

I think when I take my nap everyday, that makes me feel energized and ready to take on the day

Also, when I have my comfort blanket, or my huge bear with me, it makes me feel loved and happy.

When I talk to my plants or go birding, it fills me with love and hope. It also makes me able to tolerate other humans for the day.

And the one thing I cant live without, the dharma and my dhyana. it makes me feel grateful to be alive, and humble (which is something I need when I get wayyyyyyyyy too manic)

Now another thing I am doing to improve myself is my wife signed me up for glass blowing classes and I have wanted to do that since I was a kid. Here are some shoes I bought today.

Now I would like to see if we could maybe start a feel good thread post up that new outfit that you just got or a new pair of shoes you picked up and who cares where you bought your stuff as long as it makes you happy. Got a new hobby or are taking a class tell us about it. I have a hard time reading post about how unhappy you are cause it is a trigger for me and I am sure it is to others. I am not saying I don't post stuff that bothers me but I would like to see some more positive stuff.

Hey, I made another thread based off of this one

Hopefully more people get inspired like I did! ^3^

There are so many things that I used to do that made me happy. Why can't I seem to focus on at least one to take me out of my boredom. I can't seem to read for more that a chapter or watch a half hour of tv without getting bored. This is so not like me.

Trying to make someone else smile during the day is my goal. It maybe a warm greeting to an elderly couple at the supermarket, letting someone go in a shop before me, sending a friend a text when I cannot face anyone.

It doesn't always work, but it, at times, helps me to focus on something other than the way I'm feeling
