Wierdest thing you've ever done while manic..

I think you actually have to go to a piercing/tattoo place to get them done.

This is something that's just silly, and not necessarily weird, but I think it's funny. I was approached by a woman selling beauty products, and she wanted to recruit me to be a beauty product seller too, so we had an entire conversation about nails and hair gels and lotion, etc., and I gave her a fake name and fake address, and fake email address and phone number, and acted like I was actually interested when I wasn't.

And this was all in presence of my husband. It was just funny watching him witness the entire conversation, and then have her leave and say goodbye to me using the fake name I had given her. lol

Both tattoos I have were completely impulsive decisions based on delusions I held while manic. Magical thinking stuff. I won't share the totally wacky stuff cause I'm embarrassed but one time I saw this homeless couple sitting at an intersection. I parked my car, approached them and began asking them all sorts of questions about how they ended up homeless and what their story was. I ended up going to the atm and giving them $20 (which is a lot for me). This was during a time that I was in a big spiritual phase and wore white all the time cause I thought I was a "being of the light". It's funny that during mania almost every time I would get really spiritual with it, but now that I'm on meds I'm not at all.

No I don't have them lol I got mad one night and took sll my piercings out that I had at the time. And no..,didn't get caught on anything

Within the 8 days I had the episode I had one period where I was awake for 37 hours and during this set period of time, I was so confident and full with energy that I signed up for a marathon that was only a few days away because I felt like I was the most in shape person in the world and I had not been on a run. Then I ordered the 21 day fix EXTREME (for like fit *** people) then I texted my ex and told him to apply to my university and move in with me then I went to Walmart with my friend and went up to everyone I could find in the store to ask them what color "the dress" was and if they disagreed I went into a detailed explanation and then spent $50 in paint and my friend said she didn't understand a word I said that night then I went home and texted everyone I knew saying I felt like I was the happiest person in he world and called my mom to tell her how I felt and she had to hang up after 15 min because she didn't understand a word I was saying and then I got to the point of confirmation of payment for a ticket to Spain and then somehow realized that was "too impulsive" and decided I should drive 10 hours to Miami instead

The weirdest I've ever done was spend my work day (when I should have been teaching and doing my teacher paperwork such as IEPs) writing various essays which I was convinced would save humanity and heal people in emotional pain because I could heal just with my words. I also surreptitiously laid hands on people believing I would heal their emotional upsets with my touch. I never told anyone what I was doing though. I thought it needed to be a secret.

You found a place where you can get them done for 25 dollars?! Are they running a nipple deal or something? That's a steal. I got my eyebrow pierced twice, and I think each time it was fifty? Don't remember well. It was ten years ago.

You could always get a bra. Then you wouldn't have to worry about catching them on anything (too far? sorry. lol!).

Yeah, it hurt pretty bad. I was clenching my teeth and couldn't help to let out an "eerrgggg" throughout the duration of the 3 FULL ****ING SECONDS!

Afterward i couldn't even feel them though. But now, as they rub against my shirt and stuff, they are hurting a tad. Just like ears from here on forward me thinks

One time it was down pouring raining.. I mean down pouring, I ran down through the woods, and I never run, but it just felt like I should. I ran to a river and jumped in. I had to take a poop, so I did....... My thought was that the river was moving so fast that it would float away and it wouldn't bother anything.... I aimed my butt with the current just an fyi..........

I didn't think the piercing hurt too bad. They were sore after. Dude...I didn't even wear a bra home. Got both nipples pierced, got a tattoo, swiped the credit card and left. I was dog sitting in a big city at my cousins house and my friend was coming to stay. she had just gotten a big squid tattooed on her thigh. when she arrived she walked in the door and pulled down her pants and I flashed her. lol neither of us knew what the other had done. the light was on as it was night and all the windows were open...

We stayed up all night.

I recently gave 16k to a virtual stranger I met online. All my savings. Yup. Sure did. I am more like cyclothymic with hypo manias not even full blown BP.

The soreness after for me is Nothing like the piercing.. I was in hell on earth for 6 seconds of my life but after each nip i couldn't help but let out a "ohhh yeah" of relief
