I've been trying to get my head in the right place, was released to go back Wed, couldn't do it supposed to go tomorrow but truly don't know if I can. I've takeb two half doses of clonzapan half earlier and just took another half, took my trileptal and full dose of trazadone about an hour ago. Hopefully I will just fall asleep in a bit and get up and moving in the morning. I'm terrified of facing my coworkers and afraid I'm not able to handle my workload anymore. I just want to curl up in a ball and cry. Sorry for such a negative post! Venting I guess

You won't know unless you try it. I know it's hard to face, particularly when you're still feeling fragile, but you won't know if you can handle it until you're actively working again.

You have my sympathies. I went through something similar two years ago and never made it back.....I was fired three days after I attempted a comeback after taking a medical leave of absence for a mixed episode. They decided they could not give me the accommodations my pdoc requested for me to be able to do the job. I hope things go better for you!

I'm sorry you are having a rough time. After my first hospitalization I took an extra week off and work wasn't very happy about it but I needed time to get used to the med changes, see my dr, try to figure out what to do about my psychiatrist suddenly going on leave while I was IP, and just re-adjust to a quieter, calmer world.

All you can do is the best you can do. It sounds cliched but it's true.
