During one of my hospitalization I had a roommate that I tend to see around my city. The lady is homeless. She does not remember me I do not think. It's amazing because she will see me and flag me down if I don't see her. The lady will ask for money to get food and instead I go get her food. Today I was strapped for money and hoped she didn't need a full dinner plate because I honestly didn't have it. She only asked me for a $99 drink. I went in a near by store and managed to find enough change to get the drink, a honey bun and a bag of chips. I took her the items and she was so grateful. I like helping her and wish I could do more for her.

Made homemade peanut butter. Made homemade hummus using Indian style chickpeas. Plans to make gyros tomorrow in part using my hummus. It looks like I may be back in the saddle again, in the kitchen, after a 15 year hiatus. I have so much to show my daughter about cooking. I am looking forward to it!

Wrote poetry and a couple of songs. One of these days I really need to learn how to make music.

Worked 6 hours. Went to post office, bank, and office for my paycheck. Did a load of laundry. Prayed for a friend on Psych Central.

burn a cd of something I like to listen too

finish putting my Christmas list in my amazon basket

watched the last in the series of mount pleasant, and set a reminder for when it returns

decided that i'm not going to freak out when a trick or treater knocks on my door (i'm not even going to answer them)

decided on sausages for dinner, and actually cooking them rather than getting a takeaway

My grandma just had surgery. She's home but can't be alone. My mom had to go somewhere so I volunteered to stay with her.

Worked on a painting for my best friend. She requested it months ago but I wasn't feeling well enough to focus. Hopefully I can get done by Christmas, but if I don't I'm not going to beat myself up over it.

I've had a lot thrown at me today. Toilet was clogged for some unknown reason. Couldn't go to the bathroom until I got to work. Computer went down at work. Got home and got a phone call from a manager at office complaining about an employee. While on the phone, my son kicked his boot off and it flew up and shattered a light bulb. Had broken glass everywhere to clean up.

Somehow I managed to navigate all this. My nerves are shot. I'm physically shaking. But I got through it.

I had a good self-care day. Went to therapy, got my hair done, and bought a pair of boots. I definitely needed that.
