It's pitch black and the only noises are my 2 fans. Yet I still can't fall asleep. My mind is racing and I can't make it stop. I'm hearing voices both externally and in my head. Pretty sure there's a black figure sitting at my desk but it's too dark to tell. I already took all my meds for the night....not sure what to do here bleh.

2 train of thoughts. just rest in bed getting some rest helps.
other train says get up and read something light until you feel sleepy. then go back to bed.
warm milk helps. any prn meds to take?extra klonipin?
sorry you can't sleep.
I was up watching the cubs win and then got on the computer for hours now. I need to get to bed too.
waiting for my meds to kick in.

I can't sleep either. Then again I'm still feeling elated over a sports game I watched earlier on TV. I'm going to try and rest a bit. Bizi is right, laying down and closing your eyes and slowing your breathing down sometimes does the trick for me. I just let my body relax, slow my breathing rate down and start to think of peaceful things. If it doesn't work at first, just keep doing it. Sooner or later you'll be sound asleep.

Been trying to sleep for past 5 hours. As soon as I get drowsy and comfortable I get a sudden wave of energy.

Usually when I get up I stay up..all night and the next day. I've been trying to stay in bed for like an hour but nothing. And I usually fall asleep within 20-30 mins. Milk makes me throw up lol. Unfortunately I don't have any prns to take. I guess I could take an extra Valium but not sure that'll even make me sleepy.

Good luck with the meds!

I don't bother going to bed unless i think I have a shot at sleeping. When the clock runs out enough I'll take the laying quietly in bed for awhile vs being up till tomorrow night.

That makes sense. I'll just do that if I can't sleep. Unless I'm full of energy and can't contain it.

I feel you pain bother wide awake 3am I just don't feel tried. I am slightly paranoid right now though have been for the past three day I am more clear now I guess. I called my mom the other day and told her that the government was giving me psych meds to kill me... I am just on edge now but I realize I was delusional before.
