i received a leter from my pain doc and it said i have limited them to how much they can care for me and i am to detox my self. or go see my primary doc. so i guess i want be going back to see him. he was my doc for over five years. and no i did not limit them to my care. that's just an excuse for them them to take care of only actue care patients. people who need experamental treatment.. and oh yeah more money. my friend goes to the same doc ans she basicly got the same letter. so i'm not as upset as i was the day i got the letter. but still it's so wrong. i think i'll just cut my losses and move on.
on another subject saw my grandpaernts this weekend and they were great my grandma had damensia (spelling) and alzhimers (spelling). and it was so sad to see how much she had changed. i tried not to cry infront of her. but she would not have noticed anyway. she thinks i am her niece. oh well thanks tuck for the poem. i loved it. loved it. i needed that. thank you. have not been able to get one of my meds. so i'm alittle off. well on that note hubby just came home for luch- he's working nights right now. talk to you guys later-onyx

Hi onyx69000!

Recieving a "Letter" like you did is very harsh... I live in British Columbia, Canada and have never heard of anyone here recieving such a letter from their Doctor.

Did s/he not leave you referrals..further contacts? Just left you high & dry?
I hope for all MI patients in the USA this is NOT the norm...

My goodness: I feel for you onyx69000... I don't what to say, except keep moving forward as best you can until you find a new Pain Dr...

Hey,

That's what I'm here for, we all are to help.. I truly and honestly never heard of a doctor doing what he did, may be he has some problems??
Glad you like the poem, hope it cheered you up. So how are you feeling tonight, eveything OK? Sad to here about your grandparents. When my son came home last week he brought his new baby, it was a fifth generation baby.. My grandmother did'nt know my son or the baby and what it meant.. She's 95, my parents are the caregivers now.

Well it's time for meds, and try to sleep, "right"..

Parters in crime...............
