Vacay from work and I took week off from my actvist duties. Well not really, since I am on intense letter writting bout and preparing some materials. Both very upsetting subject.

At mom's place. Aside of cats we talk hybrid and other wars.

Apparently, I cannot relax. I may be able sleep in, but I cannot stop worrying, obsessing and weaving crazy scenarios.

I guess I am too far gone. Or something.

What's worrying you?
Try anything you can to relax. Deep breathing.
Meditation.
Hot bath
Long walk.

I find meditation helps me - it can be difficult to fit into the schedule but I get a lot out of it. I prefer ambient sounds (crickets, running water, thunderstorms, rain, far-off train whistles, owls) or the Grateful Dead. You can find them on Youtube......there are a few called "Night Sounds" that are pretty cool. Many have over 1 mil hits. Nothing too heavy, just mellow. Let your mind drift off and don't think about anything that is worrying you. I often fall asleep with my headphones on.
Thanks for this!

I am trying to relax. Meditating, herbals, took my bach essences (though I have only the trauma one with me atm).

Went for a walk, but didn't have the usual effect.

What is worrying me?

Don't really want to talk about me, but it's some thing beyond my control. But heavy stuff. Sight. Not really life I wanted....

I found Bach flower essences in my cupboard the other day. Rose and olive, they did help some for the state I was in.
Thanks for this!

Is it war related? :/ I was watching stuff/listening to the news and it's all overwhelming. It has to be harder if you're living closer to it.

On a bright note:
Doughnut Ice Cream Cones from Prague Are Enchanting - Great Ideas : People.com

^ looks amazing. Have you tried it before?

Yah, war related :/

At least.... I don't need to worry about Nadiya (as much) now. Still.

I know that treats. It's not really a donut... it's a dough that is baked over fire... (tunnel cake). I know it sans icecream and I see people having that filled version, but didn't have it myself.

((E-hug))

You are so strong for your activism.

I started listening to the news again because of the elections. It's strange though because no one else I know really does and they've told me they're choosing to be ignorant of what's going on. not really up to date on what's going on in the eastern block though. I looked at your blog tho and the poem was beautiful.
