Suuuuper anxious about my business trip to Europe! My anxiety kept me up all night.

It's gonna be a loooong day today, and it's going to suck. I'll probably take extra Ativan because I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight on the plane.

Leaving at 7pm EST and will get to the hotel at the equivalent of 8am EST...Then I gotta stay up until about 9 or 10pm EST to adjust to the new time zone.

today i am going to turn my room upside down to try and find my door decorations (i can't find them anywhere!), and it's really pissing me off

had a nice message today from someone on here which made me smile (you know who you are!)

ordered myself some twizzlers. i'm sick of people saying yeah, yeah, they are nice.. they are nice!. you should try them!. so now i am..

takeout pizza tonight

Watching my husband sink into a deep depression is angering me, like that helps it. He hates change and is taking this move of clinics hard. Which leaves me all his paperwork to fill out. I feel like his mother right now. Then after angering me all day and not talking to me he wants sex like he can't tell he needs a shower. I'm not saying a word to him about this but really. I'm the one most likely going IOP and he's the one not willing to get up, dressed, eat... and because of this he's off meds and refusing to consider any (this includes his blood pressure meds too) but he's an adult and can do that. He's going to make me a widow but I can't do anything about it. See it's 9:30 am no ones up and I'm still upset. at least he's seeing a T right? small victories.

And just to remind you....just remember to set an alarm for the next day. Hubby and I did not do that last month and slept until 7pm the next day. we missed 2 tours!!!!!
We did not have jet lag the rest of the trip.

Goal is to make it to work every day this week, I have fmla but I really don't want to use my full 12 weeks I want to get back on track and get back to a productive life and not have short paychecks and not be behind on my work. Hopefully I can accomplish this

Thanks! Good idea... I will make sure to set an alarm... I *definitely* don't want to miss anything. I have to be at my company's office site on Thursday for 8am.

Good luck on your trip, Blue.

Today was hectic. Got my meds (finally), had a doctor's appt., then an appt. with the psych nurse this afternoon. In between all that we had the AC serviced. I almost passed out at the doctor's office because it was so hot. Then got told by the psych nurse that the Latuda can aggravate heat symptoms. Thankfully the AC is working now but I sure don't want another day like that.

I'm thinking about going off my meds.

It's not that I think they're really bad or anything.

It's just starting to make me a little panicky and sweaty that if I didn't have them I'd be screwed and go into serious withdrawal territory.

And it doesn't help that my mom and dad keep on saying I shouldn't be on them and that herbal remedies will cure me.

And at this point in my life it's a great time for me to go off because I don't have a job and really don't have anything to do, so if I have a bad withdrawal experience I can just lay in bed all day moaning and twitching.

I'm proud of my husband he's been out of the bed room since 10 am. He's even dressed!

Don't do it, Raspberry. You would end up worse than just withdrawals, you'd destabilise and end up in an episode.

Today has been a little better, no voices so.far, yet. Ran out of my medication, so going to go see tomorrow if I can get it refilled or not, if I can't I'm screwed. Still quite paranoid, idk what to do about that, ride it out I guess and hope it doesn't get worse. Have my DBT group tomorrow, we start core mindfulness, should be interesting.

Aren't you under a 6 month court order?

I did get Vistaril as a prn, but the pharmacy didn't have it ready for me when I tried to pick it up after work. So now I gotta go tomorrow. But I think the anxiety is finally starting to subside. I'm actually sleepy now. But at least I'll have that for future issues.

Yeah. Sigh.

I'd admittedly forgotten about that. Never mind.

I don't have insurance. How am I going to afford anything? I don't have pockets full of money. I estimate that all of my meds combined will be pushing one hundred dollars.

I applied for state insurance, but I don't know if I got it yet, and even if I do get it I won't have it before I need my refills.

Since I'm on that six month commitment I think the county will pay for my meds. I mean... they have to! They're making me take them.

Saw my T and pdoc today. Both agree my low mood and exhaustion is most likely due to the impact of my last severe episode. At least now I am somewhere around baseline.

Still pretty unmotivated right now but I need to get my act into gear as I am back at university tomorrow. That plus work will be f/t hours.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all but also hopeful that I will find my feet once I start running.

I am going to make it. I won't let this illness steal more from me.
