It's allowing myself to say, "To heck with it." Getting in the car and driving to a place remembered, a place I learned to fish from a man I knew only as "Dad."

Not being afraid to go back and remember the times I cherish the most, I hold in memory.

My colored pencils. Sometimes just looking at the many different hues is enough to calm and relax me. I love to use them as well, and see my pictures come to life.

Talking old memories with my dad on the phone.
A jeans-n-sweatshirt day in Springtime.
Laughing with my kids when describing a new food.
Photography.
Watching my progress from working out.
Watching my favorite movie over and over.
Seeing my daughter's joy on her face as she shows me her prom outfit.
Green grass
Three healthy children

My family.....children, husband, mom, dad, dogs. My oldest son is not doing well and that is killing me. I feel I will never be happy until he is. I'm trying to find ways to seperate my wellness from his but I don't know if that's possible. I need to be well to help him though so I'm trying. I can't do much in the way of helping him in my current state and living by example is the best strategy so I have lots of changes I need to make ....I'm asking for help because I can't do this alone.

Apparently today is Star Wars day (MAY the 4th be with you!).
My friend wants my help making Star Wars themed food for her kids!!
I love dumb made up holidays like this!!!! Not sure only 1 day a year is enough time to celebrate Star Wars, but...
I googled ideas and someone came up with "carbonate jello"- they put a hans solo action figure in light yellow jello and let it harden so it was like he was frozen in carbonite. Fuucking brilliant!!!
So The existence of Star Wars Days is bringing me some pleasure.

Need to focus on some good thoughts today.

I have a cat curled up sleeping on my lap and another one asleep on the top of my chair.
So my cats can always make me smile.
Coffee ice cream is delicious.
My coworkers are awesome.

Both my chiropractor/PT and her dog!

It's such a joy to see them both together!
My chiropractor is also a licensed PT. She's very "upbeat," and full of "Light."
The dog is a therapy dog and is in her office.
Joy! Joy! Joy!

My best friend. My parents who work so hard and excel in life in ways I wish I could also but I get such pride because they are truly amazing people. They were in the newspaper recently and I read the article to my friend and couldn't stop crying. My friend thought it was so beautiful and amazing also. I hope I get better....I have their genes so I have hope I really will.
