No sleep? Oof that's tough! Probably a good decision not to watch AHS.

I do really want to watch it though

remember I posted about I was going to give it back when the postman came?

I didn't. I tried too, but cried over it like a baby and started rolling on the floor clutching it to my chest

why. why do I want to watch it, when I no it's bad. i've not been able to remove it from my desk without some sort of extreme reaction

my biggist problem this week has been memory issues (really eating away at my life), and anxiety (about everything)

I've not cut which is good, but I have (and am currently) binging on a 2 KG bag of pick and mix sweets.

I've also had other stuff this week... takeout fried chicken yesterday (12 peaces), and almost got through another chocolate tin (not good on the binge front at all)

as for the suicidal urges, I've started looking up people in my area who can discuss funerals/ last requests.

I did start doing this before, but I stopped because I reached the realisation I didn't need a funeral (even if I did, who would show up?), but I started looking again because getting the final bit right is important (and I imagine it will be soon)

not actually thinking about suicide at the moment. I'm just doing that with the funeral people (I hope I can find someone)

---i think qualified professionals on this site should reach out to Shattered and chat until ss gets some help. If there is no one why not create a rotation of volunteer professionals DocJohn for people seem on the edge.Good job giving special support.

a while ago, I suggested something like that

in which members, as well as posting in the threads could reach out on your pubblic profiles and send words of encouragement on private message

I think the general theory was, that we have the forums, and if someone wants to reach out to someone, they can- and the Idea never happened

I love the idea now of a support thread (like my one)

we should have our own subforum, member passific support, and in that forum have threads for all the active posters here

then if someone wants to post a message for someone for everyone on the forum to see, ta-da

the problem: too many members, and if we started creating threads for 1 person and not the other, yeah... stupid idea

glad i have this thread though. I value it

i've not been updating this thread (actually quite bad of me), so here goes..
the positives are that since I posted about the fireworks, i've not heard anymore (but I know i'm going too, that time's coming up)

i've not harmed myself and i've been using my crystal a lot to ground me

negatives are that i'm still not sleeping, had some pretty violent helusinations on friday and saturday, and that i'm still looking in to funeral people (as i've not found anyone)

When do you see your health professionals next? Could you call and be seen quicker?

currently focused on trying to find some good headphones to block out the sound of the fireworks (I can't have them trigger me like they did last week!)

just going to go on amazon and read through some reviews, see what I can find (I suppose the up side to this, is that i'm not focussed on looking for funeral people)

ordered lots of new stuff to binge on, and it's been pretty bad the last couple days

no self harm though, and about.. well, i'd say about 15 minits sleep (just a lousy 15), since my last post

The headphones sound like a great idea. I'm really concerned about your lack of sleep tho. Could you get something to help you like a PRN? Can you call your doctor?

sadly, I am 1 of those cases where i can be stuffed with sleep meds, put in perfect conditions, and still not sleep.

here's how bad it is: years ago when I had to have an operation on my throat and they tried to put me out using the needle, it just didn't work

it's like sleep is a mystery to me
