![]() And by the way, I've stopped taking Li now for other reasons. (It affect the parathyroid glands and I already have trouble with them, so I may have to have surgery on these glands. All I need is to have Li exacerbate the problem!!) |

Lithium can have adverse effects on hair growth and density. So can depakote and some other mood stabilizers.
Maybe it slowed down the overall cycle of your hair, making it grow slower and also not fall out as soon? I dunno. Just a thought. Sorry about your other health problems. |

It can make your hair fall out but so can low thyroid functioning. Lithium caused my thyroid issues. Have you had yours checked?

Lithium made me lose at least 1/4 of my hair (stress probably contributed but I've been under stress before and this hair loss was much worse)
So I would say yes, I can. |

Lithium also made my hair fall out.Not all of it of course but it did thin my hair and it came out in almost handfuls in the shower.
