Positive Things I've done today #5

Went to a park and took pictures. This new camera is awesome.

Making dinner in about an hour.

I am fighting a cold, but I dragged myself out to do the shopping and go to the pharmacy
Then I put dinner in the crockpot and am enjoying some downtime.

I just did things for me and the kids today. Tomorrow is all church all day long, so I'm going to bed early, even though I took a 2 hour nap today.

I'm terribly underweight. 5'10" and weight 92 lbs wet. I'm a little worried.
OK, a lot worried. Then I woke up.

I didn`t get much done today.Just folded some clothes and put them away.I just felt tired today.

I went to church with my youngest son. Still here. We have more church to go.

Went to another park for a walk. Processed some pictures that I took yesterday. Be starting dinner soon.

I took a long hot shower, and I managed to eat something. I have a slight headache but I think that's due to not taking better care of myself. Putting me first! That's important right now.

Up all night coughing and hacking, haven't done squat today, feel like ****

- did a pile of dishes
- fried potato slices in duck fat and had them with cold duck meat and microwaved artichoke hearts; was quite happy about the meal even though I felt groundless anxiety in the evening
- cleaned the bathtub and the bathroom sink
- had lots of black and hibiscus tea and other liquids
- am making broth from the duck carcass
- got cash from the ATM
- Skyped w/my dad and his sister
- read and responded to some emails from Joe (my friend who has BPII)

eaten breakfast/ dinner

put laundry away and took trash out

uplifting music

Everything.

I saw my case manager at my pdoc's office and went through paper work

dug this thread up from page 3 of the forum (and yeah I actually brouzed the pages and not searched)

eaten fruit for breakfast and made the decision to try and eat fruit for breakfast every day (oranges)

Finished my photos and put them online (Flickr). Making dinner now. Went with my daughter to pick up her meds.

Went snorkelling this morning and saw an octopus. It was beautiful and had big orange eyes. After a busy week I am taking today off and just resting at home. Surfing the net, reading (if I can concentrate) and playing the guitar and singing.

Woke up at a decent hour, made my bed, did a tarot reading & had a nice big dinner with my grandparents (peri peri chicken & ceaser salad)

Wrote a poem. (I think I put it in the Creative Corner.)

Read my cards and found that the positive read was the dance card.
Allowed myself to really listen to music, listen with my heart

Went to church choir rehearsal and hurt my brain sight reading- what a workout!

I love reading all your wonderful days!

What I did: I sent two pizzas over to the office of the local street paper, where the homeless vendors drink coffee and pick up their day's papers to sell and raise money for themselves to try to find a place to live.

took a shower (but feel terrible for it)

took out rubbish/ laundry

uplifting music

ate oranges for breakfast/ sorted out food for later

Woke up too late and in a bad mood and managed to turn my morning around by making an account on Psychcentral :-).

My positive thing today was that I took my son out for coffee and then we went to the phone store to get him a new phone. It was under warranty and they gave us a discount too so it was only $15 for the new phone!

Wrote poetry throughout the day. Will be making dinner shortly.
