Thinking of you. Hope it's getting easier for you. ![]() WC |

Well, the voices are still there.
Possible trigger:
I'm trying to sleep it off, though. I'm not giving in. Been taking Seroquel to just sleep, sleep, sleep, and more sleep. I'm having quite vivid dreams, too. They're not nightmares or anything. Nothing violent or sad. Just me reliving past experiences that I regret, so that's weird ![]() |

The question may be: How much Seroquel is safe?
It's a reasonable question. It's a question your pdoc (or a pharmacist) can answer. ![]() WC Edit: Sometimes when things get challenging for me, I need to temporarily increase/change med dosages. I rely upon my pdoc to guide me through this; he tells me which dosages to use during challenging times. |

But it's interesting that these voices started when I stopped Adderall? What gives? |

Great idea to ask a pharmacist about Seroquel dosages.
![]() Blue, I'm guessing the Adderall brought on a psychotic episode which is continuing despite your stopping Adderall. Triggered episodes don't always stop immediately upon withdrawing the trigger (in this case, Adderall). The weekend gives you some time a space to really try to take great care and see if you can get ahead of the psychosis. It can be like trying to put out a fire that Adderall had started. You need meds, sleep and time to cool off the brain, to dampen down the flames, so to speak. You are doing a great job! ![]() ![]() WC |

I'd recommend sticking to the prescribed dose and not be playing around with self medicating. I also urge you to be honest with your pdoc about this entire quitting the meds, taking adderall then getting psychotic and the voices. They've heard it before and they'll hear it again it's not uncommon especially for BP. It will help him to help you.

I agree with Nammu, Blue, in that your pdoc will only be helpful to you.
I know you feel strongly about not contacting him. I wish you could/would include him as an active partner in your care during this important time. ![]() WC |
