I'm tired of how 2 of my meds cost $50 each for a 30 day supply. I am hoping maybe if I call insurance company they can do something? Probably not though. It makes me want to stop one of my meds. I did find old pills in smaller doses. I would just have to take a few of them at a time....but they are kind of old, so I don't know. I am glad I quit therapy. This is all getting too much. I'll just see my pdoc regularly. Even that co-pay is high. I'm so sick of this illness.

Having ok day, today. Worked,went to shop for easter, did regular errands. Was so so stressed Thursday night-because went to do taxes Friday. Always afraid I do not have all the papers,don't have the right papers, will owe lots of money. I psych myself out.

Went on errands in the morning, and scouted out another park this afternoon. I like getting out of the house sometimes. Had a bit of anxiety but took extra meds for it. Now it feels like I'm getting down in the evenings. Rather rough.

Not sleeping well either. I'm overheating again because of the rising temps.

Not much happening here. Waiting for my Mum to pick me up so we can meet with all the immediate family for Easter. Should be fun seeing the kids all excited. Actually slept 6.5 hours last night but feel worse for it. Think less sleep suits me better. Mood is stable so that is good.

I wasted the entire day by sleeping. I felt very crappy about that. But when I got up I spoke to my friend and we watched some shows and I felt better. But now I think I am going to be up all night.

Felt kinda crappy that I met someone interesting last night that kind of disappeared today. Feeling down about that. Why do people disappear? God I hate that.

Woke up way later than necessary, but still got stuff done. Now that the weather is nice the grass needs to be cut, therefore that's more money coming out of my wallet every month. So grocery shopping was no fun today. Back to a shoestring budget the next couple of months. But I got a decent amount of yardwork done, so that was nice. What I like about being back there is the workout and seeing the changes actually coming together. So satisfying.

Still trying to calm myself down. Needing the weekend to recuperate. Very happy to say no alcohol for 2.5 years. Yet still I think my doc treats me as an addiction. Never abused drugs other than alcohol. A lot of that was situational (abusive ex-husband, stressful job, undiagnosed bipolar).

I have enough refills for 4-5 months. Should just go off them. Keep forgetting to take them. Obviously, they aren't helping much anyways.

please don't just go off your meds. See your pdoc and talk about what you just said. Maybe it is time for a med change???

Hello, dearhearts,

I don't want to go out, but we've got to get a bunch of shopping done. Part of this, too, exposes me to a failing of spatial navigation, which really freaks my wife out. It's one of the side effects of ECT. I don't know my way to the art store, how disheartening.

I was up and out by 6 a.m. Had to be at church at 7 and stopped to get coffee on the way. Church started at 8. We sang and sang and sang. Eat breakfast. Repeat. Each service took over and hour. Guest soloists in the choir. Guest chamber orchestra. I don't know about the other parts, but the altos missed whole sections of our music. Ooops. But I'm home now with my youngest and we're going to meet my mom and my middle at my mom's house soon.

Went to church. It was packed and it made me nervous. I got through it okay, though.

Did other errands, then came home to do laundry, wrote a poem, and edited and uploaded my photos from yesterday. My daughter is going to the same park today with her boyfriend's mother. Hope they had fun. We did but we went late and there were a lot of people there doing family portraits. We heard one photographer halfway around the park.

Time to relax, at least for a little bit. I'm making Spanish rice for dinner so I'll wait until the rice is cooked.

Took extra meds to cope with all the running around and crowds.

I found that I will have enough Lamictal. There was a whole 90 day supply of 100 mg pills that were in my drawer. I take 400 mg daily (200 in AM and 200 in PM), so I figure with 2 pills in the AM and 2 pills in the PM, this should hold me over for a while. It will save me money for sure, since a 30 day supply of Lamictal with this new insurance is typically $50. I'm glad I'll be good with that med for a while! If only I had more of my other meds than I do now, but I'll count my blessings.

I am doing well, the day was exhausting both emotionally and physically. After church, we climbed the Manitou Incline and then walked around the property with the guard dogs playing around us and ended with an Easter Ham with Aunts and Uncles, Nieces and Nephews... Grand Parents and friends around a large dining room table. It was a feast to be remembered.
