So lately I've been incredibly dizzy. The floor feels slanted at times and I'm off balance sometimes.

I am taking prozac, abilify and Seroquel. My job requires me to do bending, stretching, heavy lifting and twisting. I haven't been dizzy in the past, but this last week I've been feeling very faint, especially when standing up from kneeling.

I eat regularly and drink plenty of fluids.

My coworker took my blood pressure and it was lower than normal range... do you think my meds might be causing this? Should I get my dr to check me out?

Both Abilify and Seroquel can cause dizziness!

When I was dehydrated, Abilify made me suuuuper dizzy and off balance.

I'm currently on Seroquel XR and it does the same thing to me, but even if I'm well hydrated, I still go off balance. Though, usually by the morning I'm okay.

Did you start either Seroquel or Abilify recently? As a first step, you could try drinking more water.

I get those same symptoms. Last year I felt line the floor was slanted to. And get out of breath or dizzy real easy. It comes and goes. It's the symptoms of Orthostatic Intolernance or Orthostatic Hypotension. I read the other day that mood stabilizers can cause those symptoms. Now that my lithium dosage is increased I have those symptoms again. This time of the year I have them more anyways. Also not enough exercise can cause it too. I've been active though so I know I have a decent amount of exercise. I also take blood pressure meds so that probably makes it worse. And I've complained to different Dr's over the years and no one has a solution.

I started them both last October. But I was bumped up on my abilify recently from 2.5mg to 5mg.

I'm still feeling slightly hypomanic so I'm worried the Dr will raise eother the seroquel or abilify and this hypotension will become worse. :/

I have low blood pressure due to the effects of Geodon. I have found that the severity of my low blood pressure correlated with dosage. Also, when I was on the maximum dosage and got up too quickly I would feel like I was going to pass out.

You have a very physically demanding job so the only advise I can give you is try not to get up from a kneeling position too quickly. Or, if you can, divide your doses up for the day and not taken in one fell swoop. Just a couple of suggestions.
Thanks for this!

Thanks. I'll try dividing doses!
