Do you ever cancel appointments with your t, because you don't feel like talking. Or are afraid of talking? I just canceled mine. Last time we talked about self conscious and my body image relating to missing my Kung funclasses. Than after thinking about it, I realize it is more of a core problem. It does affect me everyday in life. I looked forward to discussing this with her, but I got anxious thinking of how bad this problem is and not being able to do anything. I cancelled and my appoitment was at 230. I'd have to wait another two weeks to see her.

Maybe you would've talked about something completely different.
For some reason one of my old TS I used to sleep through my appointments and after 15 minutes she'd call me and tell me to hurry up and get in. __________________ Wellbutrin XL 300 mg Ingrezza 80 mg Propranolol 20 mg 2x/day Invega 3 Mania (December 2023) Mixed episode/Hypomania (September 2023) Depression, Anxiety and Intrusive thoughts (September 2021) Depression & Psychosis (July/August 2021) Mania (April/May 2019) |

I've cancelled appointment due to illness several times. I've cancelled due to anxiety a few times because I have car phobia and it's a 30 minute drive on a crowded freeway and I couldn't handle that.

I have never cancelled my appt, but honestly I dread going and want to back out every time. I have huge anxiety and have to force myself to go.

I've cancelled appointments many times due to illness and lack of motivation. It's one of the top problems I face. I mean cancelling and rescheduling multiple times. I'm working on it. Sometimes it helps when someone goes with me.

I haven't cancelled because of anxiety, but there have been a few times where I cut the session short.

I have cancelled out of anxiety, but always the day before so i can avoid cancellation fees. I have also cut sessions short by saying I have to get to work, when in all reality I just don't want to talk for a whole hour.

I cancel all the time. I call her and leave a message and saying some excuse. Mostly made up off the top of my head. And I'm starting to think she's getting sick of me doing this because she never called me back after I left a msg cancelling. I feel like an A hole but I'm known to do this with T's if I feel I can't connect. Yet I'm too polite to admit it. However I religiously show up to my pdoc appt because if I don't I'll be out of meds! So that's a must even though my pdoc sucks so bad. |
