So I made it 2 years PP with no meds, but I had to admit I needed help again. I feel defeated, but I am optimistic to feel better. Self care can only go so far if you need a help, I was scared, but I am glad to have it.

There's no shame in admitting you need help. I went six years med and treatment free until I had a breakdown and hurt myself in 2013. My late husband forced me to seek help. I felt like such a failure, but it had to be done. You'll be ok!

I also went like 15 years without meds and now that I look back there was some destruction in my path that I feel guilty about, I thought I could handle my moods on my own, but after Christmas I had a small breakdown and said HELP, I am so glad I did because now I feel better for it, glad you asked for help there is no shame in that! We all need a helping hand!

It's very brave and strong of you to admit that you need help and then to follow through and get it. I hope all goes well.

I am starting to get that paranoid feeling that people can tell I am struggling, like they know I am bipolar. Like they are judging me. I wonder myself if am I being rational or my reaction to what is going on around me ridiculous? So unnerving. Racing thoughts, can't concentrate, can't type fast enough.... ugh!

So...just curious if you don't mind. What does help look like? And what does "PP" mean?
I'm not sure why you feel defeated, two years is a long time to go symptom free, but I"m sorry that you're feeling that way. I hope it goes away soon. And to recognize you were getting manicky is huge! By the time I am typing like a fool, I'm already so far gone I can't even identify it in myself! Good for you! I hope you feel all the way better soon!

Eesh! You've got a lot on your plate. Baby, job, husband, bipolar. Whew. That's a lot. I get the hypersexual thing too. It takes a really long time to feel normal after pregnancy even if you're not bipolar, and especially if you're nursing because hormones can play such a big role in our moods. I hope things settle down for you soon.
