*Paid phone bill.
*Did some grocery shopping, primarily to have food for my lunches at work.
*Went to library to return dvds and pick up a hold (and found a dvd I'm excited about on the regular shelf -- bonus!)

*Yesterday was friendly to people. (But not too friendly! ) Lol.

I took my daughter to the library and read while she played a game on the kids' computer, which was one of the activities the library had on their children's summer reading program to earn points.

I went to work and ate out again. I don't know if my eating out was a good idea because I ate a pizza and salad with all you can drink drinks. I ate too much again. I gained some weight in the wrong places. I am beginning to look like the Michelin man. I need to lose weight but it is not easy. I like wearing mini-skirts and tight shirts but not any more. At my age with sags and bags, I need to be more conservative. I realized this today when I looked in the mirror and was laughing at my physique. I literally look like a blow-up doll. Well, I am 50 years old and finally have come to the conclusion that hiding my physique is better than showing off flab. Thus, this is my epiphany for today.

Broke down and bought a new (as in brand new) pair of jeans
I have trouble being good to myself and, for me, this was a hugely positive thing
Go me

My day was more productive than usual, but I am exhausted : Laundry, gym, apointment, library and reading, grocery, "washed the cat", washed inside windows. Yeh !
It's interesting to read about other people's day. It gives me ideas. Thank you.

Started off goofing off on phone, but then got up and:
-- organized area by my bed
-- dusted in bedroom
-- swept the unit (it's 500sqft or less with hard floors, so pretty easy)
-- cleaned off and organized my desk/project table
-- switched over to a different bag (not quite as simple as it sounds, lol!)
-- checked checking account entries/balance

Pondering going to the library -- received package with one correct and one incorrect item (sheesh, how hard could it be to do it right?!) and need to copy invoice for return. PITA.

Also pondering grocery store.

Or just staying home and doing some beading.

Will the fun option win?
