I wrote my Week 9 Friday Fitness and Weight Loss update for my blog. I lost 2 lbs this week, for a total of 8.8 lbs in 9 weeks, despite gaining a bunch during my 2 week vacation in Portugal last month.

I planted my herbs in my herb garden that I weeded and prepared yesterday. Watered them and house plants.

Did other miscellaneous chores.

I need a shower. The gardening made me sweat like crazy.

I will track my eating today.

I want to bake a diet friendly thing containing fresh strawberries.

Called my T--deal with insurance is good and we have an appointment next week
Called pharmacy--pharmacist is tracking down shortage of my med and will let me know later today when I'll get it

Thanks to this post, I got up and sprayed the plants on my windowsill with water.

I taught day 2 of my 2-day online class. After it, I cleaned the bathroom - everything but the floor. Even wiped little perfume bottles. I hope my roommate will notice.

I did a brain dump - in no particular order wrote down the things I plan to do in the coming weeks.

Weeded out my flower/veggie gardens and then weeded around the chicken coop and mucked it out.
Now I'm going to try and read for awhile....

I went for a walk.
I cooked dinner from scratch.
I finished the mystery book I was reading.
I took a 2 hour nap (not sure if this is exactly positive, but I was exhausted, had been up since 3 AM)

I went grocery shopping.
I set up an appointment to see a neurologist.
I called my insurance company to get them to resubmit a $5200 anesthesia bill, so I won't owe it.
I filled out the forms for the new neurologist (printed them).
I finally uploaded my daughter's spring school picture to a local drugstore's website and ordered prints (much cheaper to order a CD with the image from the photography company & get the prints elsewhere than from the school photography company).

- took care of an unpleasant business and made an unexpected human connection in the process

- started a deck of online flashcards and took a quiz off of them, on StudyBlue; for a class I am taking on Wed-Thu

- made breakfast and lunch and did the dishes afterwards; drank lots of tea with cranberries and stevia

- bought a clamshell of blueberries

- are a quesadilla at a taqueria, stopping when I felt full. I sometimes am in a bad habit of not listening to my body's cues and finishing food even when full. Was glad that I did not have a humongous appetite on Geodon.

- read a book on the IPSRT with great interest

- made a lunch out plan with a former report, now a friend, for tomorrow

- spent time planning this week

- billed insurance for the dr's appts in May (have to mail it still)

- cheered a friend who is resuming work after a year long period of disability

I took my daughter to the library to pick up her medal for completing the summer reading program...she's a fast reader and was working hard to complete it. She was thrilled when the librarian told her she was the first kid at our branch of the county library system to receive the medal for completing the program.

Oh, thank you! I read this and remembered that I did not do the dishes after dinner - I would have gone to sleep like that and in the morning would be disappointed in myself, since I live with a very cleanliness-oriented roommate.

I experienced a surge in anxiety in the evening so it is good to recall the positive things done today:

- had lunch with a former coworker. She is underslept. I sent her the link to my sleep medicine dr's page.

- saw my PCP. We decided I would not be using stevia so heavily but instead would drink tea with a little bit of honey and would cook dried fruit compote without added sugar.

- did more flashcards, took quizzes, and read the textbook

- had a mani-pedi without color; a bliss

- read the book on the Interpersonal and Social Rhythm therapy for Bipolar (for clinicians) and following the advice on measured social interactions, emailed two friends asking if they want to get together. Did not go on a spree emailing my entire contacts list! Created a social rhythm metric spreadsheet and started filling it out.
