Was at social gathering this afternoon. Was nice and had fun. Didn't realize what it takes out of me until I got home. Exhausted. Dozed on and off this evening and now I can't take listening to the chatter of the tv the news or anything. Super restless. Gonna try reading and hopefully will fall asleep.

Be safe everyone

Had a great day. Went home alone for the first time since being IP. I went for a walk along the beach, listened to vinyl and cleaned my flat. Then I went to my parents and spent some quality time with them. Now I'm back in hospital and really bored. Finishing TMS on Wednesday and hoping to be discharged that day or the next, just haven't confirmed it with my pdoc. Feeling happy and fairly content. Will stay at my parents for a week or so after discharge as I've been IP 8 weeks and going straight home alone will be a big change. The extra support will help the transition.

Getting quite shaky ~ been off meds for almost a week because the only doctor in this one horse town hasn't returned my calls. At my initial appointment he said he had no problem prescribing until I could get hooked up with TelePsych, but????
Don't have a car to get to a city and probably couldn't drive anyway and none of the places I've called have any openings until November.
Ready to give up!!! Wish I'd never moved to this G*d forsaken place!!!

Managed to get a couple chores done yesterday. Chores and grocery shopping on the agenda today. Fighting through all the anxiety I seem to be having lately. It's horrid.

Had a good day, but then got upset about something and now I can't sleep. I tend to ruminate about things and it gives me insomnia.

Either I sleep too much, or not enough.

I hate bipolar.

I'm so tired of bipolar and anxiety and being so isolated. Dealing with so much anxiety and restlessness and distractibility right now. Meanwhile people keep telling me I'm funny. I think maybe I need to learn to shut up when I'm at work. Sigh...

I'm having another good, stable day. Now that I'm thinking clearly, I am still thinking that I absolutely do not want to continue in education. I am going to finish out this year doing my best but I am making preparations to apply to the master of social work program at a good university in my state. I don't know wtf I'm going to do financially or for a job in the meantime but I have ten months to figure it out. If I'm lucky they will let me go again and I can collect unemployment until I find something. However, I am saving as much money as I can to prepare.

I feel good about my decision. This is the direction I want my life to take.

I'm still losing my mind with all this itching. I accidentally doubled up on my lamictal last week and I have been scratching to the point of bleeding since then. No rash, just itchy...everywhere...gaaaaah!

Oh, wow... you need your meds. Please call him again. My pharmacist will volunteer to call any doctor not responding and they answer extra quickly to pharmacists, usually. Maybe let your pharmacist know you need meds and enlist his/her help in obtaining an acceptable response from the doctor?

A friend of mine had moved far, far out into the wilderness, into a very small town. There was no doctor in town. The nearest (tiny) ER was almost two hours away. The nearest mental health center was two hours away. He'd ended up having to do "telemedicine," seeing a pdoc on Skype. He was never happy with the psych care.

Please don't give up!
Please reach out to the doctor (again) and also to your pharmacist.

Anxiety is so very unsettling! I am sorry you are having a more challenging time again, as you'd seemed to be feeling a bit better for awhile. Do you have any prn meds for anxiety? I hope you catch a major break soon!

Sounds so very uncomfortable! Excuse me, I forget, did you notify your doc and your pharmacist? If so, did they make suggestions to try to help you feel better?

Do you have a rash? I think you've answered this question before, saying no rash?

Your pharmacist should know if s/he has some topical Benadryl and should also have some idea if it's safe for you and/or if it might help you. Did the pharmacist say if this is an actual "histamine" reaction or something else?

Either your doctor and/or your pharmacist should be able to help you.

Please reach out to them again.
My heart goes out to you.

I called my pharmacist and he said it was for sure from the lamictal. Benadryl was helping but I ran out yesterday. Need to get more soon. No rash...Thank God!

Great!
I sometimes buy the liquid generic form of Benadryl (diphenhydramine), so I can keep the dose as low as possible while also getting relief. Just a thought.

So very glad there is no rash!
