Feeling kind of anxious, still got some packing to do and get the keys to our new
place on Friday but moving is never fun.

All went well with pdoc. Says I seem like I'm doing well enough to go 3 months again. Mood wise, I'd agree. Raising anxiety med. We shall see if that helps. Fingers crossed.

Went to the dr for my cough, he said my lungs are clear and it's probably just allergies. So he gave me cough medicine and an inhaler and I bought Claritin. I hope they help. I have been waking up every hour in a coughing fit so I haven't been getting good sleep. That always makes me irritable and cranky.

I have some good things on the horizon though so I have some things to be happy about.

We have a 6pm curfew which hopefully will be lifted tomorrow.
So glad you are okay!
Hope your back heals quickly.

What is that chart that shows where behavior follows feelings which follows thought in a round circle and each one feeds into the others? I am doing pretty good but am failing the behavior part of it. I'm going to do my darndest to make it to bible study and for a walk tomorrow. It's starting to drag me down. I couldn't even go pick up my medicine for a week.

If anybody has broken through this cycle will you please share? Thank you.

Somebody told me they were addictive, so I stopped them and had a seizure. I never did that again. But I did make the doctor wean me off. But Pdocs kept putting me back on them. But now I take propranolol and like it much better.

Hi Jen '67

I do not think our conscious state is necessarily a cycle. Our subconscious on the other hand is consciousness that has not yet been formed and is affected by very complex causes and forces; some of which are out of our control.

I think what we can manage ourselves really starts with our beliefs and intentions. Our beliefs and intentions determine our desires. Our desires determine our thoughts. Our thoughts determine our actions and our actions determine our situation.

Of course everyone who has lived in the past and is living now affects us, as we affect everyone living now and those who will live in the future.

Some affect us more than others and we affect some more than others in our immediate time/space coordinates, but we are all truly part of an interdependent closed system.

Practically speaking: If you are having trouble with the behavior (action) part, the answer may be in the intensity of the desire. Your desire may not be strong enough to actually follow through with the behavior. You may also have conflicting desires and therefore give the stronger one(s) more priority.

The answer could be in your beliefs. You may have a self-defeating belief that inhibits a desire and the appropriate subsequent action.

There are numerous possible answers and I think you will continue to find them as you seek!

Just a few thoughts for whatever they are worth

P.S. Feelings are not a cause; they are an effect. I purposely did not include them in my life managing system.

I think that managing one's life based on feelings is dangerous and inefficient at best.
If we manage our life well, we tend to feel well.

Just my opinion today.

Ubered it to grocery store and barber. Sat on my ***** most of the day watching television. I really need to vacuum the dirty carpet. I am dizzy on my diet. I need to eat a little more and see what happens. Cannot wait to go and get my restricted license.

Microsecession! Been on the phone with the State Department all day. I established an independent sovereign state, declared war on America, fired a stone into Wa'ahila Gulch with a wrist rocket, then surrendered and demanded $16 million in foreign aid. My State liaison sent the aid by bank wire transfer, and they dispatched a platoon of Marines from MCBH to plunder our natural resources. Hopefully the aid gets here before the Marines. New Kyoto encompasses a mere 0.06 hectares and has a population of 3, but we will serve as an offshore banking hub for Japanese organized crime. They like gold. I'm working on an application for a seat in the UN. Elections are next week.

Obviously still smoking big ol' doinks in the Amish.

It went really well for me but I had stopped Xanax some time back so I was just coming off Valium and Klonopin. The withdrawal from Xanax is really difficult.

Feel good that I accomplished something important yesterday. Was off meds for too long waiting for my doctor to return my calls so I got up the nerve to march into his office and demand some action.
Started back on meds last night and I know it'll take a while to kick in but I got off my *&% and did something positive for myself. YAY!!

I'd had a doctor over-prescribe Xanax when I was young and knew nothing about it (and trusted him). 14mg. per day. Had to go impatient for detox/withdrawal and it was a nightmare. The shaking/tremors and sweats were 24/7 for weeks.

Please take it slowly.
Thinking of you.

I'm back and doing a bit better considering I don't long for death any more. It's been a rough week or so, but my T says that the statistics for emulation when one chooses to take his or her own life goes over 50% for the likelihood that the offspring will (at some future point) follow suit. Given this data, I am determined to avoid contributing to it and pushing my boys in that direction.

Though I am still not feeling great, I only have to endure until next week when I have ECT again. -I so wish meds worked better for me.

While I may not comment and respond to all of the struggles mentioned here, I read everything and you are all in my heart and on my mind as I go through the day.

I have a pdoc appointment today. I hope he's not mad I took myself off the clozapine. But that was two weeks ago and I've felt totally stable since then. I'm also on the invega shot and I just don't think I need two ap's.

Fear is the tormentor that taunts and scares while displaying visions of impending doom and suffering.

Fear is only helpful to motivate one to take constructive measures.
Otherwise it needs to be kicked to the curb and eliminated like a criminal home invader.

There is a helpful purpose to our suffering.
Suffering is used to bring us to wisdom and love.
Suffering stops when it is no longer needed.

If that makes no sense, it is ok.
Just try your best to have a good day.

Still plugged in and online
Still doing my best (I could do better, but this is the best I have now)

Thanks & Hugs
