Hmm? I didn't read many comic books. Occasionally I'd look at the comics section of the newspaper. I really liked Snoopy (cool dude animal), always had a soft spot for Charlie Brown, and kind of facination for Lucy (from Charlie Brown), though she definitely was far from perfect. I'll confess to being a huge Bugs Bunny fan (though I guess he was only a cartoon character), but really the Charlie Brown characters were more like real people. I also really liked the cartoon Casper the friendly ghost. I wasn't so into typical super heroes.

What is one of your fondest childhood moments?

I think I was around 2.5 years old. I was sitting on my grandmother's kitchen floor while she cooked at the stove. I was surrounded by pots and pans, a plastic bowl or two, and I had a wooden spoon held high in the air, sure to come banging down on something. That grandmother practically was a second mom to me, so it's a fond memory. She raised 5 kids of her own in a tiny house, so I guess noise didn't bother her much, considering they couldn't go outside in rainy weather.

Who is your favorite fictional character from a book or a movie and why?

Anne of Green Gables. I think I identified with her and her stories are so well written I've read them over and over. They are one of the few things I can read when I'm having a bad episode.

Are you good at confronting peoople/organizations with complaints about service?

Yes, I am fortunate, as I can usually get results. As I am getting older, I find this increasingly stressful.

Which are your top three favorite fruits?

Sometimes. I go through phases. I love fruits and veggies, so that’s never really an issue. But I also love sweets ~~ cake, cookies, pie, candy, I love it all!! When I get stressed, my diet becomes a little more animal cracker and skittles heavy than is appropriate.

Question: Do you speak another language? If so, how did you learn it? If not, is there one you would like to learn?
Thanks for this!

I don't speak any other languages.

during school I had to take one, so I took french- though most of the time I just looked away and didn't consontrate. we played a board game in french class and because I couldn't speak the language, I'd lean over and trash the board.

italian would be nice to learn, it sounds really good

also spanish or greek.

question:

how did you do in school?. bad, average, or better than average

In my earliest years in school, I thought homework was optional. That was obviously problematic. I didn't always pay attention in class, either, because I loved to daydream. However, in middle and high school I became more interested in studies, especially after quitting ballet. I became the type that always raised her hand to participate. My graduating class was very small (25) because it was a small private school. I feel a little embarrassed and hesitant to write that I was the class valedictorian.

When I went on to university I did well, but not extremely well. I had some rough semesters mood-wise, and took some classes that were not my forte. I graduated with honors in my major, but just under honors overall. I have taken additional college courses, for credits, since graduation. They included International Relations, Intro to Psych, Abnormal Psych, and Developmental Psych. I got an A- or A in all of these. I also audited Cognitive Psychology.

Years back, just after college graduation, I continued my studies of Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan R.O.C. I did OK while those studies lasted, but they were cut short due to mania and depression. Living abroad was very stressful for me.

What was your favorite subject in high school and/or college?

it was the only one I'd actually pay attention in

I loved henry the 8th. thought it was brilliant.

question:

are you the type of person who would try new and exotic foods if visiting a tropical country, or would you just stick to what you know?
Thanks for this!

I would try some foods for sure, and I could see me saying no to a few because I just can see that with me.

Do you like certain foods during certain times, or is the like and dislike of food something that is constant for you?

Citalopram. Nothing happened that I recall. I think I just kept getting worse. It wasn’t a good med for me, but I wasn’t able to explain what was happening in my mind very well, so I think they were just guessing at what would help.

How do you stay organized?

my cds and dvds are in order of what type they are- so comedies on one shelf, dramas on another, and with cd it's split by pop, rock, RNB, etc.
I try to follow a rooteen too- I'll eat breakfast at a certain time, I'll play my trivia, I'll check emails etc etc, all at a certain time.

I love rooteen

as for the rest of my house though, it's not organized. it looks like someone came in here and made it in to the crystal maze.

how important are birthdays to you. do you celebrate?

I don't care much about my birthday any more, but my husband makes a big deal about it. He'd be very sad if I didn't make a big deal out of his birthday. It's the same for holidays. I do call my sister, brother, and dad on their birthdays. Dad gets presents from us, but usually afterwards. My pet gets presents. Friends just get a Facebook birthday wish. I have no close friendships any more.

What is your favorite holiday memory?

When my daughter was born, I declared October the 20th, a universe holiday.

If you had to cross a river with a wolf, a duck, and a bag of beans, one by one, how will you do it.

Hmmm.. well the first one that comes to mind that doesn't have a repercussions or taboo - was a new years eve /Into new years .. i was 21 and at the casino with my brother and a few of his friends, we dispersed as usual.. around midnight the waitresses passed out champagne.. I was in a room full of strangers but we all counted down holding our glasses and wished every one a happy new year I like that memory.. I remember a warm vibe from everyone.

Are you artistic?

I suppose so. Well, I used to be, in high school. Though I am mad my mom lost my best piece and another really good work. I did well with charcoal, pencil, black ink, not color though. I need to take some pictures of a few of my pieces & upload them. And I used to write short stories and poetry. I don't do any of that any more, except some poetry and only lately.

If you had to give up most food and drinks, what are the top three things you just could not easily give up (with the exception of water)?

uh..

probably take the wolf first, come back for the duck, and then the beans

I doubt a duck is stupid enough to eat beans. ducks like other stuff

Big & Rich, Save a Horse [Ride a Cowboy]. KIDDING! Maybe Trains I Missed by Balsam Range or something I can fit my own inner lyrics to, like Nuvole Bianche by Einaudi. That seems to fit me, regardless of mood.

What was your first concert?

First concert was I believe what was called a rave in my younger age, now a music festival I am told they are called. Multiple artists.

When you go to the zoo, which animal exhibit do you look forward to see (if any)? ...
