My goal for tomorrow is to make a small dent in my to do list and at the same time do something to enjoy this fall weather. The first thing on the agenda is finding my fall/winter clothes as I’m still in my summer attire and it’s ccccoooolllldddd outside.

My goal for tomorrow and the next few days is to stop procrastinating and finish my 2000 word paper for my last course.

That's a great idea for a project that I could do, too. I actually think it could be slightly fun.

My goals today:

1. Go to the grocery store to pick up some things.

2. Tidy up around the house

3. Make Beef Stroganoff

4. Try to figure out a use for a whole bunch of leftover ground roasted hazelnuts that are combined with sugar. Pie crust? Ingredients for a cake? I don't know.

Oh I love beef stroganoff! I have a very easy recipe for a slow cooker version. You could combine the hazelnuts with graham crackers and butter to make a pie crust for a chocoloate pudding pie? Or you could put it on top of chocolate or vanilla ice cream?

Thanks for the suggestions, depressedIRL21! Actually, before seeing your response I decided to use it for a nutty crust for a citrus cheesecake tart. I'm just waiting on the cream cheese to soften. I'm sure it would also be great with a chocolate pudding pie, as you suggested. I am steering a little away from chocolate now because a few days ago I made a big batch of chocolaty cookies. I've actually gotten to the point where I need a break from chocolate. I know that sounds strange.

I can imagine beef stroganoff working well in a slow cooker. I don't own one, though. I had to finally limit my kitchenware purchases since I've run out of room in my kitchen. I use my good ole' Dutch oven to make it.

Home from the doctor. My goals for the rest of the day are to make some hearty taco soup for dinner (perfect for a cold, rainy day), pick up the house and listen to a webinar tonight.

I completed almost everything I set out to do yesterday, except the load of laundry. Also, instead of the stuffed pepper side, I made leek soup.

Today I have done a lot, too. I called Amazon customer service about an issue I was having. My house is tidy and pretty clean (did more cleaning yesterday). I went to the grocery store to get some OJ. I got my hair cut. I eventually did get that load of clothes in the washer. Also, I researched house cleaning services near my father's house. I think I have decided on one. I will only hire them if my dad is dedicated to becoming sober. Next week I will look for rug cleaning services, too.

Left to do:

1. Put clean clothes in the dryer

2. Unload the dishwasher and wash at least the Dutch oven, plus load the few things in the sink in the dishwasher

3. Make the stuffed peppers I planned to make yesterday

My initial goals didn’t work out of traveling to see my daughter so I will stay close to home, go grocery shopping and clean as the pain allows. I might even make a casserole for dinner.

It’s a beautiful day today so I’m going to run some errands including cleaning my car since it will be between 23-36F here tomorrow. It’s 65F right now. I’m going grocery shopping and then plan on cleaning the house from top to bottom (or at least part of it). Tonight I’m going to watch an inspirational webinar and get a good night’s sleep.
