Kinda did a bunch of stuff without setting any goals, but I had these goals in mind--

Cleaned my shower completely, including unclogging the drain w/ some Liquid Plumr (rather than Drano) and using bathroom cleaner throughout the entire thing. I think Liquid Plumr is better than Drano.

Also unclogged my toilet with an auger that I bought today. (Damn those paper towels...) I think I did it wrong, but the clog was undone. I tried to grab the paper towels out with the auger, but the auger just pushed them down the drain because it wasn't grabbing on. But I guess it worked? lol.

Now that my bathroom is squeaky clean, as is my bedroom, the next step is to vacuum my bedroom floor and then put up my shelving. Also need to buy some kind of mopper to mop the floors in the kitchen and bathroom, but I'm not at that stage yet. I cleaned the bathroom tiles with bathroom cleaner. I mean, the shower wall is the same as the floor, so like... I guess why not?

update my computer.

it keeps pestering me to update to a newer version of windows (as the current one ends support in november)

it's still windows 10, so I guess I shouldn't really have any reservations, but I hate updates.

it just takes so long

I had some goals for the day, but I didn't post them. I'll just post what they were and then what I did:

1. Order a zipper vinyl bag thing for my blankets so I can put them away neatly.
2. Buy some plastic storage bins for putting stuff away in my closet.
3. Put stuff in the plastic storage bins.
4. Clean up the boxes on the floor (again).
5. Take off the labels on my millions of empty prescription bottles so they can be thrown in the recycling bin.
6. Change bed sheets.
7. Organize bathroom.
8. Take a shower.
9. Vacuum my bedroom
10. Clean the countertops

Did #1-3, kind of did #4-5 (I am still working on them right now), and still need to do #6-10.

My goal for today is to finish my paper. My goal for tomorrow and this weekend is to keep it together and have a successful visit to see my grandmother and aunt. I am feeling anxious about it, but I'll take it one moment at a time.

Finished #4-5 last night. Kind of did #7. Did #8. Did not do 7, 9 or 10. Those are my goals today, along with putting my stuff on my new shelving (that's almost finished!!).

I have already done a lot today. I straightened up pretty much the whole house and at the least did a sweep and spot cleaning of the floors/rugs. I also went and got my eyebrows waxed and stopped at the store to buy something to go with coffee or tea when my sister and brother-in-law visit at noon today. I doubt they'll stay for coffee, though. They may only stay for a few minutes to pick up my sister's sweater that I have. Anyway, the house looks good. Left to do:

1. Go to my therapy

2. Cook some kind of dinner

3. Finish sewing the rip in hubby's slacks and a button onto my shorts

4. Maybe double clean the downstairs bathroom floor. I still think part of the downstairs smells bad from the plumbing issues a few days ago. I sprayed deodorizer and have the front door open with just the screen door closed. It's only 60 F (15 C) outside now, but dreary and sticky feeling.

That's all I'm going to expect from myself. Yesterday I notified my volunteering director that I can't come tomorrow. She responded thanking me for the notice and for my help this past Saturday. I'm relieved that I cut that out this week. I'm not fooling around when I say that I will nip this slight downswing in the bud.

I’ve already accomplished some tasks today relating to the den and taking mom and brother to PT. I’m preparing for my daughter’s visit so my plan for the rest of the day is to:

1. Go to doctor’s appointment
2. Continue working on den project
3. Clean part of house
4. Cook dinner for family
5. HSP training video

Today's plan is:

1. Vacuum.
2. Clean kitchen and fridge.
3. Throw a load of laundry in the washer.
4. Deal with these empty prescription bottles in a HIPAA-friendly way.
5. Clean my bike and lube its chain and not get any lube on my nice floor.
6. Deal with dinner.

So far I've gotten the grocery shopping done. I bought a lot of healthy food in hopes I'll eat healthier. I haven't completely cleaned my apartment yet, I'm working at it a piece at a time. Laundry I'll have to do tomorrow since the laundromat is closed today. I'll update again at the end of the week to see how much of this I've finished

I did extremely little today. Hubby already knows. I have not felt well today. The only things I really did was to submit some recipes to a recipe contest. That is a pleasurable activity for me. I do plan to make a reasonable, but easy, dinner. However, my eating today has not been so good. I haven't eaten a lot, but suspect I'll get very hungry closer to bed.

I did everything but number 2. Have been having trouble with motivation for drawing lately. I might tonight since I'm awake or tomorrow

Well I ended up drawing a bit this morning. My goal for today is to go to mass this evening. I haven't been in months, it's been giving me massive anxiety and avoiding it is making it worse, I always feel better once I go but I've been having a hard time leaving the house lately.
