Rejecting providers irl who use archaic stigmatising language. Has anyone else done this?

Sometimes I think I’ve “read too many books” (mostly long ago... too freakin tired now

I did this. She was helpful as a Jungian, but I needed other help. I told her the truth
She made 1 disparaging remark I now find hilarious.

I wonder if a Jungian might be helpful to me. A friend is having EMDR (having read about that I find the idea rather scary )

One T talked about ''nappy changing''. I guess that is kinda hilarious He didn't like it that I was reading a few books (about other therapists and therapy etc)

I decided against the shrink(s) I was researching recently partly due to Papa bear's concerns and my severe allergies to nearly all the meds I have tried. (the ''public system'' has been far from kind to me...)

What about divising your own system? You are very intelligent and well versed in psychology. Maybe pick and choose a few techniques and really get after them. Document your results and see how it goes. If it is a bad fit, pick something new. Any progress is good, no matter how small.

I see a therapist and she is somewhat helpful, bit most of what I do is self taught and practiced. As something proves worthy, I take it to the next level or just keep it in my toollit for later. If it bombs, I scrap it or recyle it with some tweaks and try again. If there is no technique for what I need, I invent my own

several times

one time was when I posted about the

Possible trigger:

the other time was when I was refered to as " it". I do have a name and a gender you know.

I have also had providers reject me, because my emotions are " too intense"

Can you clarify or give examples of what you mean so I can better understand?
