Read the Desiderata and visualize the cosmos unfolding as it should. Can’t say why but this has worked for me.

Is there one special song or poem that speaks to you?

No, but I've always wanted goats and chickens.

If someone dropped you off in the middle of a wilderness (temperate forest style) could you survive?

Probably for at least a while. I'm a survivor and pretty tough, plus at least somewhat knowledgeable about plant life and water sources. I could hunt if I had some tools for it. Or fish. Also with the right tool I could build a fire. I grew up sort of in the country and was a good Girl scout. I could certainly rough it longer than my husband, who is a city boy.

Favorite environment for vacations?

Oh, no contest. Northern Minnesota in the spring, summer and fall before the snow flies. Has to be on a lake in a pine lined cabin. But in my old age I also want running hot and cold water and a modern bathroom.

What would you name a boat if you had one?

The biscuit (as in a cup of tea and ill have a nice biscuit to go with it). My surname is a famous biscuit in the UK and growing up people persumed I was related to Millionaires. If only lol. My uncle was called biscuit from the age of 5 until his death this week, my dad was called crumbs (no joke). I have been known as biscuit too in my workforce. Family hazard having a name associated with food lol

Question: if you could fly as in you had wings where would you fly to? (no limits are on you)

I’d have to say a glass of chilled spicy chai. But I limit myself to one glass a day because of caffeine

What message do you refuse to hear?

I like all categories of meat equally, except any of their livers or other internal organs.

What are your favorite two vegetables?

1) I wish my neurology appointment was within the next month and that they can find something that explains my symptoms quickly
2) I wish Bean would use a little more smarts when he's outside.
3) I wish I knew what was going on with my friend that had covid.

Do you do any sort of affirmations if so what are they?

I recite Bible verses. Even partial verses help me slow down.

Do you pop your knuckles?

(Sorry if this posted twice. I posted and then it went all weird and I don't think it actually posted and for a while it took a trip far back into time, insisting we were on page 7 instead of 43. Sheesh.

No, I don't think my knuckles would even crack/pop that easily. Plus, I think it would not be pleasant and my husband would surely complain about such a sound. He scolds me when he sees me picking at my cuticles, which is something he does, too. And that's mostly silent.

What is your main nervous habit or tic?

I’m a very profligate swearer…. Mostly silently or under my breath. Butt when I get nervous I swear. My dad was a champion swearer. Most are pretty benign but if I’m really nervous I can rip out a whole tide of them.

What makes you lose track of time?

Actually this posted in the general check-in thread. Not sure how that happened but I've had it happen to me too

Do you get anxious when your therapist goes on vacation, even if you know you'll be fine?

I don't even notice when she goes on vacation. She doesn't tell me, she just gives me the date of our next session and at some point I'm like "oh, this is in three weeks, not two. Cool."

Is your handwriting neat or messy?

It’s all over the place. You know how most people slant to the left or right or might be a vertical but mine slants both ways and sometimes vertical.

If money were no object where would you like to go on a vacation? When? I mean what time of year?
