Only if you include canoeing and kayaking on a fairly tame river with 2-3 wild children numerous times per summer for 3 years when I was a camp counselor. We did aim for the gentle rapids. Believe me that it was an adventure.

Do you like abstract art?

A: It can be interesting the things the mind can resonate with. Certain colors, shapes, figures, shades etc. all can elicit a unique experience for every person. My avatar right now is supposed to be a representation of my DNA make up. I forget exactly which artist is the inspiration but I find it very interesting!

Q: What’s something you find easy to do that others may not?

Cooking, and specifically gourmet cooking. I'm also talented at dancing, but having had almost 10 years of training also helps, in that regard.

When was the last time you wrote someone a letter? It could be one sent by email or on paper.

I last wrote a letter to my daughter for her birthday at the end of June. I typed it on an old typewriter, too!

How often do you mop your floors?

Cooking and baking. After that, maybe tending to house plants.

What is a chore that you hate doing?

Neither, I’m not much of a fruit lover and very picky. Green tend to be more bland but sometimes have tougher bitter skin. And reds almost always have a tougher skin. I liked the green ones when I was a kid but they had seeds.

Blue hair or pink hair?

My daughter. I made a joke about having a wine party. It’s a joke because I rarely drink and even more rarely wine and know nothing about it. But she inspired me to do it. The wine tasting is tomorrow afternoon.

Do you like how tv and movies are now all about horror for the month of October followed by Christmas movies till January?

No. It's barely October lol. I usually do my Christmas shopping on like December 22nd.

Do you like horror movies? Why/why not?

I got a free body wash with my conditioner purchase that I'm going to give someone. Does that count as shopping? Otherwise I've looked a little for one gift and discovered it's harder than expected. Usually I'm well into it by now. I really need to get started.

What is your favorite breakfast food?

Oops, we posted at the same time.

No, I'm too afraid to watch horror movies. I've never even seen the whole Wizard of Oz because it is too scary . (I have seen Silence of the Lambs though.......)

Bread types are so numerous around the world. But putting it simply, I guess "white types". I like good-quality baguette about the best. Even baguettes are not all created equal. So far the best I've had in Czech Republic is a rosemary "root bread" that is like baguette, to a degree. I also loved a particular sesame coated pointy roll, but they sadly disappeared from the store we were purchasing them from.

What do you most like and hate about autumn?

A: Hell no. My life has been nothing but suffering, sacrifice, and hardship. I don't pretend for a second there was anything "nice" about it. Sure, I had food on the table, and shoes on my feet, and a roof over my head. Providing necessities growing up doesn't equate a good life, though. I did do the best I could providing the circumstance. I would have sought independence earlier, I would have sought therapy and help earlier, I would have fought to see the world in a healthy way. I would have changed a lot. There's a few regrets in there too.

Q: What is your ideal car ?

I'm not really that into cars. I suppose I do have a special place for the first (and only) new car that I ever bought 100% on my own. A Honda Civic. I sold that when we moved from the US. An ideal would be an all electric version, which my old one was not.

What comedy (film or TV show) has been your favorite in your life?

The two or three that come to mind are all British. The Best Marigold Exotic Hotel, Shirley Valentine and I can’t recall the name of the other one, something about a funeral. I like the British humor it’s understated and not in your face but leaves me feeling good. I’ve seen all of then a number of times and could watch them again.

What the perfect size for a party held at your home?

In summer when we can be outside, probably like 25. In winter more like 10.

Do you or have you ever had a mood/symptoms journal/tracker?
