Last night I fell asleep closer to 8. I was under both my weighted blankets so 22 pounds total and I was not overheated. I woke up for a bit around 1. I don't remember how long I was up. But then I fell back asleep and I was sleeping off and on until 5:15. This is the 3rd night in a row of what I call decent sleep. Any night when I can get back to sleep until 4-6AM is what I consider a good night.

I didn't sleep good last night. I woke up at 11:50 and I was hot with the blankets on and cold without them. It didnt matter which one I was using. The night just dragged on. I tried music for a bit. Then I listened to a couple hour long podcasts. But it still wasn't even 4 when I got bored with them. I turned my music back on and drifted off for about 20 minutes until 4:20. Finally at 5:30 I was really boiling hot and just decided to get out of bed early and take a shower. Of course the second I got out of bed I was instantly freezing.

Just thought I'd say hi. I'm still very tired but starting to be able to type with only some frustration. I'm still thrilled with my results. And now it is time to try to get to sleep. I hope it works.

I had Zoom follow-up yesterday. Nothing like projecting your bruised and battered breast over Zoom. (Obviously she was very private). The only thing is they really would like my skin glue to stay on 3 weeks and it's peeling already at 10 days. Which is ok but I want to do whatever they say to avoid scarring. She said I probably won't have any if I follow the rules because of how they arrange dthe incision. That sounds good although if it works I don't really care.

I've been referred to the breast specialization clinic in August. They'll do a cancer risk assessment, manage my mammograms and ultrasounds and generally take over from surgery. I think. It was a bad connection.

Hugs to all

That zoom follow up would feel odd but then again I think I’d enjoy not having to go in for a post op office visit. Hopefully that glue will hang on a bit longer

That sounds wonderful to have all breast care and future testing all together !

Hope your continue to heal and sleep well

Worse sleep in months last night. Waking up after nodding off every 15-20 mins ! Felt like a fish flopping on a dock all night. Ugh !

If I have doubts about sleeping tonight I plan to take half a Ambein.

Hugs !

Okay, I took Tylenol PM tonight because I have a crummy backache that has me limping. It's musical chairs with "what do I take to sleep tonight?"

So here I go, and I'll make it to bed by 11:30, hopefully asleep by midnight.

I took my Geodon and melatonins at like 3 yesterday afternoon just to get some relief from this valium anxiety. I fell asleep before 6 and woke up before 11. I got half an hour of sleep around 3:45. At least tonight is going faster then the other night.

It used to be that I took more ambien on Wednesday and Saturday so those two nights I would sleep, deeply and “catch up” But since starting with the new pdoc I’m on a 14 day schedule of one dose then reduce by 2.5. I haven’t had any nights of zero sleep but successive nights of low sleep. I’m not tired, but my head is starting to buzz from the chronic lack of deep sleep. I’m afraid I’ll start getting wired when I start the next decrease on Sunday. I really want to see the back side of ambien but I’m starting to think it’s not working.

I hope your small decrease will allow your body to more easily adjust. Will Pdoc extend your taper before you really get into trouble ? Sometimes things go to fast.

I fell asleep right before 9. I slept under my bamboo blanket and it was so cool I was able to sleep in my jeans the way I like to and I was able to use my 10 pound weighted blanket and my burrito blanket. I was that cool under the bamboo blanket and with the cooling pillows and pillow cases. I woke up at 1:30 to put on my hoodie because I was cold, and then I got back to sleep until 4:30. So it was a pretty succesful night. I still feel a bit off physically but not like yesterday.

This time I got more naps with the weirdest dreams. I kept falling back to sleep & having another weird dream. This morning I woke up feeling so depressed & worn out. I'm feeling better now, but feeling sad.

As soon as I test Sid's glucose, if she's not low, I'll pop a 25mg Seroquel and cross my fingers for some real sleep tonight. I should be in bed by 11 or before.

Sweet dreams, dear ones.

I fell asleep at about 6. I woke up at 12:50. I listened to music and my podcast and drank a couple zero sugar sodas. Close to 4 I fell asleep in the middle of of a podcast so I turned it off and switched back to my music and then I woke up at about 5:15.

Hope you got some good sleep Beth.

I had a pretty good sleep. My dreams were influenced by the book I’m reading. There’s two small towns fighting each other, in the dream it was two train cars that had a rivalry. One one car had a kitchen so I had to take our washing up there to clean. It and they stole a can opener and some other small but essential items by dumping their washing up over my stuff. Was a were dream. But I slept late. Which is very good as tonight I go down to 15 mg.
