I missed something. What are your tomorrow plans?
I'm here now- at my mom's. It's a family get together with my sister and niece who are in town to pick up my niece's new mustang that she bought with some of the money's she's been saving from acting her whole life. It was ordered back in January and just arrived to the dealership - where N2's boyfriend sells cars- two weeks ago. I feel a lot better today than last night. I did sleep in till about 11:30 this morning to try to get over this faster. My aunt's and uncles are here along with N2 and N3 plus their significant others. No fever. So yeah I'm doin alright. N1 isn't here because she has covid. I took a covid test last night and it was negative. N1 says it's a very mild case so that's good.

I've been tired today. I've wanted to get to the store for awhile to look for the new Christmas Mountain Dew. But I haven't had the energy to get out of bed. I can make my Dr. appointents and my lab work. But in the last 3 weeks I've gone to the store I think twice. I've just spent a lot of time lying down. I'm not depressed or anxious. Just super worn out physically. I'll try again tommorow to get out. At night I feel like I can make it to the store and out to breakfast and then in the morning I wake up with no energy despite how I've slept. This happened when I got covid. I hope this doesn't affect my trip.

What a frustrating, stressful afternoon it's been. I'm about crazy with trying to figure out which foods work for specific cats. These past few years and now/the future is the first time since I've owned cats that I'm entirely on my own as far as caring for them. It's just so incredibly helpful to have another pair of hands, with some cats, to administer medication, for example. Or even someone who is here with me to provide emotional support. And it's yucky warm this afternoon. I spit in the face of H'ween tricks, lol.

Yeah, right

I think they are saying to wait 2 months after infection before getting a booster. I know someone who didn't get vaccinated originally and now keeps getting it over and over. I think she is immuno-compromised though, which makes it worse.

Oh. 2 months...well, yeah. It seems that could expose someone to getting reinfected. The whole covid thing makes me batty. I'm so done with it all.

Yesterday was h's birthday party/Halloween party. It was good. It made Miguel realize he wants to take an fx makeup class. So I helped him sign up for that. We have not told h yet as Miguel wants to surprised him. Miguel has to go through basic-advanced makeup before fx. It's a 200+ hour course. They send you the make-up and everything. If he likes this course he'll go to a make-up school in California.

CR decided at the last minute he wants to go trick or treating tomorrow! I’m very happy because I thought the last year was it. One more year makes me happy. I think twelve is the last year I went. I know when I was 14 we just ran around the neighborhood. We ended up at my old friends house who I hadn’t seen in a few months because she went to private school for high school. Well, we interrupted a meeting between her dad and the GOVERNOR of the state!!! I felt so bad! I hustled the rest of my friends out of there quick!!!

We went to a Halloween party yesterday dressed as the Addams family. I was Morticia, RS was Gomez, and CR was pugsly. We looked pretty good!

Yay, I'm glad the party went well! And I hope Miguel has found his "thing." Cool!

Ha, that's funny - the governor on Halloween. You'd think people would meet some other night.

How wonderful that CR wants to go t-or-t'ing! I hope he has a blast! My best friend and I were 14 the last time we went. Everyone except one cranky old lady was nice. The year we were 15 we ran around the neighborhood, she and I and 2 guys. The 4 of us dressed like Kiss. Ooooh, that was one fun Halloween!

I was curious about that after my own COVID experience. My last booster was this past December, so it makes sense that I got it. Still, everytime I asked the pharmacist (or a doc even) about boosters, I could never get a straight answer. Anyhow, first chance I get, I'm getting a booster, considering respiratory ailments are a recurring thing with me.

My mom wasn't able to come to Sunday services because of... something going on with my dad. He's in enough pain that he can't walk. It sounds like a strain or sprain but there's serious swelling as well. For all the animosity between us, I do wish him well. That kind of pain is no fun, I know from experience.

While my mom couldn't go to services, I went ahead. Sat through service, talked with my mom's friends and my friends. I updated them on our lives, including my bout with COVID. One woman I told the COVID bit to physically recoiled at the mention. Mentioned how she was sick with COVID three times, didn't want to get it again and nearly tripped over herself trying to get away from me.

This was today. I have gone through both doctor mandated quarantine and company mandated time off. I'm even past the doctor recommended time frame to be masked indoors.

I get it. Three times with COVID is a horrible bit of bad luck and can provoke quite a bit of anxiety, but if you're running away from someone you consider a friend at the mere mention of the word COVID... I'm not mad. I'm certainly not amused. I'm just sad.

At church, no less. People

She'll probably catch it again, anyway. I mean...3 times is a lot. Maybe she is prone to catching it for some reason.

Saturday night I didn't get to sleep until 5:30 AM. I was extremely tired and needed to pack and get things ready for my trip to the city for breast appointments. So I was so tired I fell sound asleep at 9:45 or so. I woke a couple times briefly and then woke at 2 thinking I could get up and do somethings because it must be later than 2. So now it's 2 and I'm going to try to make myself sleep more. I really hope it happens. I have to drive to the smaller city today for therapy and then on to the big city to spend the night before appointment #1 tomorrow. I have several appointments so I'll be gone until Thursday. It just doesn't make sense to drive back and forth with the gas prices so high. Adding up gas I'm not really spending that much more on the hotel (which charges half off, has a shuttle to the hospital so no need to park and free parking at the hotel. It's very nice.)

The day I have off I'm going to do something fun. I want to go to the zoo but I'm a little scared of the highway to get there. The thing is I've only been on the scary one at rush hour so it's probably not that bad but I have to merge across 2 lanes which could be bad if it's as busy as I think it is. The other choice is an art museum and I think I'll probably do that one. It's very easy to get to and is free. The zoo is far from free. I was at the art museum 28 years ago when I was in college. So I'm due for another visit. We'll see. If the weather is as beautiful as it is supposed to be I'll probably opt for the zoo and free air. I'm torn...

Time to try to sleep.

There will be alot of walking at either event. The fresh air is a better option and maybe they have a petting zoo there. you could go love on the animals there. Bring some quarters if you go you maybe able to feed the llamas or other animals.

Biden testing positive again was a rebound thing from the medication he was put on to treat his covid. It is a well known reaction from it.

The theory was (still is?) that once you’ve been infected you have a degree of immunity for a certain period of time. If you did a blood test you would have antibodies in your system like you get from the vaccine. That’s my understanding anyway. But with all the different types of covid around at the moment I don’t know how many you’d have protection against.

Had much fun in aqua class today. We had witches hats and our pictures taken for prosperity.

Home now and having pumpkin spice oatmeal for breakfast

Well I finally made it out to 3 grocery stores this morning. I got more Lunchables and protein shakes along with some fun kinds of cheese and cotton candy grapes. But man did it wear me out. At the last store I was close to collasping from fatigue. I had eaten a twice baked potato and drank a 20 gram protein shake right before leaving. So I had eaten. I am going to message my primary about when I can get the booster and also how long to expect this fatigue to go on for. Its for sure related to covid since it started once I got it and nothing else has changed.

I'm so sorry @Mountaindewed

I don't really have lasting effects from Covid, but many have told me that the fatigue can linger for a long time.
