I had 3 hours sleep, between 6 am and 9 am..

How did you sleep Breaking Dawn (if you're reading and feel like sharing, if not, obviously that's ok)

Wishing more restful sleep for all tonight..

Not optimistic for me though.

Who knows though I might find that magic wand

I slept fine. I don't really remember too much of last night. I know I woke up once around 1 or so. I think I got up right before 5. Maybe closer to 4. I feel tired but I don't think it has anything to do with how I slept.

I had a very strange dream last night. I don't usually remember much of my dreams unless they are nightmares. It was super weird but I went back to sleep again I think (this is unusual for me if I've been woken by a dream or any other reason for waking up)

😮 ooo totally threw off my schedule. I was listening to 60’s music on YouTube last night, good songs kept coming up. Then I listened to top 100 songs of the 60’s and it was well after midnight going on 1am when I went to bed. Couldn’t sleep after that was around 5 am when I fell asleep. I woke so late and discombobulated. The dream was so complex and vivid. Still affected by it.

I'm going to have to figure out a way to get my sleep schedule back to somewhat normal. I nearly slept through a serious commitment yesterday because I finally crashed after 2+ days up. I was supposed to be someone's ride home and I nearly didn't show up! Luckily I was only about 10 minutes late, but if the hypomanic cycles are causing me to slip like this, I need to address it. I messaged the doc asking for a quick conversation about getting something to try and knock me out (proverbially speaking). Also, it's gonna be murder, but I'm going to try and keep myself up for the duration today. I've got a lot to do today. I'm still in crash mode, but if I can get my internal clock to adjust, I'll be off to a good start.

I fell asleep before 6. I was having some dream where a couple family members and I were on vacation in some like water island like place I think they might be called hot springs, but to get to the different spots you had to cross really dangerous areas of like crumbling rocks and mountains and stuff. I woke up at 1 in a lot of neck pain from accidently sleeping with 3 pillows. I got back to sleep around 4 and slept for about 45 minutes. Overall it wasn't a bad night with how early I went to bed.

First night on 2.5 mg ambien, my body laughed at me. I tossed and turned until 4:30am then just lay there exhausted until the alarm went off. No swimming today, ugh the idea of that cold water! No thanks

Another night where I took hours to fall asleep then woke up after only 2 hrs and couldn’t get back to sleep. Gave up then was just nodding off, so went back to bed but it was morning so I’m just a lethargic mess and grumpy too.

I fell asleep at 6:30 and woke up at 12:30. I got another hour of sleep around 3:15. I'm still tired and in bed.

That's what I get for being away and crashing at the same time. I repeat myself elsewhere!

At any rate, I got about six hours uninterrupted sleep, which was nice! The crick in my neck when I woke up: not so much.

My sleep just plain sucked. The heat is holding in heavy, yucky air, even when it cools down some overnight. Plus, there's a rehab group home behind my bedroom window and they left bright lights on all night. I will email them and remind them (yet again, I email them about 5 times/year) to turn their lights off.

I'm hoping my med dude called in a prescription for Seroquel. Usually I'd take only 25mg, occasionally, for sleep. But I'm contemplating taking 50mg tonight so I'll truly sleep. I have a non-stop headache and feel run down from lack of sleep.

@Fuzzybear - How are you feeling in the terrible heat? London at 104 degrees/40 celcius?!?!

I've been feeling similar to Christina actually about the heat. I hate it and it makes me want to not be here. It isn't as bad now though. I'm sick of the summer though, I prefer spring and autumn or even winter (often)

It makes sleep so much worse, ugh.

Same ole same ole. Skimming sleep/wake zone no deep sleep. I figure it will be about a month before it improves. If not the pdoc wants to try a different med. belsomra

A month is a long time to put up with that.

I did sleep some last night.

I have some herbal sleep stuff I haven't tried (I tried something herbal before, it either did nothing or caused an allergic reaction - not as severe as the allergic reaction from prescribed meds aside from benzos)

I find chlorphenamine (sp?) helps a little, sometimes with sleep. I think seroquel has some of one of the same ingredients as chlorphenamine (sp?) has (and is sometimes prescribed for sleep at a very low dose as I'm sure most here know - I'm allergic to seroquel)

I'm glad your pdoc is working with you in a helpful way.

I felt like I hadn't slept in a week all day yesterday. I didn't take a nap but I couldnt get out of bed. I only took one 10mil melatonin and then crashed from 6:30PM until 3:30AM. I feel so much better. I think getting my meds on a legit schedule is helping.
