I spent yesterday crying off and on. He called me Moose or Mooser ever since I was a newborn as I was only three pounds at birth.

Moose, I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is such a tough thing to bear. Please do take care of yourself during this grievous time.

If you have text messages from him that you want to keep be sure they are set to be saved. I didn't know that when my non-bio dad died and I lost every single text I'd ever had from him. I can't tell you how sad that makes me.
It's ok to keep his phone number in your phone. In fact I bet I still have mine. Yep, and he's been gone 3 years. I still check his facebook page sometimes too. No real reason but it makes him feel a little closer.
