I think I’m at the bottom of a mixed episode

I’ve spent tonight writing my friend good bye texts I great detail! My therapist friend says I need to center. I wrote my case manager saying I’m out of control and would like a sooner Pdoc appointment. I really don’t know what else to do!

Ive been up since 2. Can’t sleep.

Took a nap around 6:30 am for 3 hours! No word from case manager.

Left case manager a text last night. She hasn’t replied.

Still no reply

Hurt my knee Sunday walking 3.5 miles with N3. Tripped and my knee bent backwards pretty far.Need ibuprofen for 3 days. My mother doesn’t agree with the dr. Why does my mother hate me??

Got an X-ray of my knee. Results to come. Told to do 3 days of ibuprofen- what my mom had a fit over because I’m on blood thinners- and Tylenol and lidocaine patches. I turn 53 this week! No wonder I’m falling apart. I apologized to fwb for everything I said yesterday. Talked with case manager.

I can call and ask clinical coverage to get a message to my pnurse yes. But she makes her own schedule.

Case manager asked me to call her today but she isn’t calling or texting back.

Just washed my hair. No call from case manager. I called her like she asked and texted today. I feel forgotten, ignored and dismissed!

I’m in bed. Just took my night meds. Its 5:10. Cat is in bed with me. Feeling ignored. My mom doesn’t think I need physical therapy on my knee. She always negates my medical issues! She’s not a medical professional in the least!

I was worried you tore a ligament. Im still trying to figure out which way it bent when you tripped - what is backwards on your knee? Hope its feeling better. Sounds like its wait and see if surgery will be needed.

How to explain… normal straight knee position when you stand. Then when you bend your knee your lower leg moves backwards. Well my leg was straight but the lower part went forward instead of backward pushing the knee the wrong way. The doctor hasn’t mentioned surgery just physical therapy but that doesn’t start for six weeks yet!

No. They haven’t seen the X-ray results yet. My physical therapy starts May 12! I have 7 physical therapy sessions through June 6th.

Omg! Thats what i was thinking, but i couldnt get my mind to bend that way! Our poor Moose!

I think I can picture what happened...was it sort of like your knee just giving out? Because I've had that happen before but recovered before my knee went too far backwards to get hurt, thank goodness!

Just took Advil. My doctor said it’s okay for 3 days even with my blood thinner.

Your x-ray shows no evidence of fracture. It does show evidence of osteoarthritis and a small effusion (small amount of fluid in your knee) which could be contributing to your symptoms. There are no changes to the plan we discussed yesterday and I suspect you will continue to start feeling better with time and physical therapy.

Case manager won’t respond to me! At least there’s one more day to the week.
