I keep having terrible coughing fits all day long. A video visit with a dr at urgent care prescribed me something but the pharmacy was closed! Ugh

Tessalon pearls? They don't cure the cold but provide reliable temporary relief.

Naltrexone 75 mg


Gabapentin 1500 mg+Vitamin B-complex (against extrapyramidal side effects)

Long-term side effects from medications, some of them discontinued:
- Hypothyroidism
- Obesity BMI ~ 38

I used a good rx coupon. Insurance won’t cover it.

Do you have one of the old-fashioned glass mercury thermometers? I find they tend to measure temperature a lot better (though of course you have to remember not to eat or drink for a bit before taking your temp.).

I wish! I haven’t owned one of those for years. N3 has some time between church and his choir party tonight so he’s in town and is getting me a new thermometer. . Just gonna drop it by my door and call me kinda thing.

Our thermometer is dumb too. I was having fever dreams and it came up 96.7 every damn time I’ve used it since my mom got it. I just go by if I have chills or not and say “high fever” when I convince myself I’ve been in a car accident in the Rockies and got bit by a wolf.
