Poke 'em in the eye. People tend to back off when you do that...
Can you do some focusing on the moment? The Be Here Now stuff? Keeping yourself grounded in the present is difficult when you're basically trapped in a waiting room for 4 hours (!!!), but are you interested in talking to other passengers? Can you play on your laptop--any games? Can you buy a book to read before you board?....I believe in distraction....... ((((Cluesless)))) |

Yep that worked great thanks. People tend to back up when you do that. Yes I played a game on phone. It does help but I guess I need to work on the breathing thing p doc taught me. It didn't help I have a head ache. But I'm waiting on next flight so I got some tylonol and water. I am OK right now. Flying is very relaxing to me. I enjoy the whole thing. The only thing better is actually being upfront, but can't do that anymore so this is the next best thing. So for now I am just a little anxious. To many people.

Yep, I hate crowds--even at open air events--like football games. Basketball games? OMG--get me outta here! I take books even to things like recitals: it's ok once they get going, but waiting and in intermissions, I read. I can dissolve into the book--or maybe the world around me dissolves...whichever. It's sure-fire for me....
I don't really like flying, but I love driving--it's beautiful where I live and not much traffic. Go play that game, dude! High scores to ya! |

I like driving, not into crowds at all...Makes me panic and then I want to start punching and hitting and saying awful things...ARG....I can be so icky when I panic...I loose all sense of reason. So now I do carry books in my purse. I luv to drive in Oregon..It's beautiful...I have only been there a couple of times...My kids and husband and I luv to go down to Ocean shores though like a few times a year it's close to where we are and it's beautiful and relaxing...

LOL...Yes driving into crowds would be a hoot only if it were the jerks that hurt me!!! Not kids or innocent people he he...Just a holes in general that really peed me off that day!!!!
Ha...Like tonight cuz of a very worrying drs appointment with my husband I came home and walked my dogs, and it was nice it's so dark and cold and I was just like happy about being out there walking fast brisk and being slapped by the cold air! Just nice...Even with the people passing me asking for money for the liquor store ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I know how you feel, it'll be ok just be yourself and try and have a good time. Take a very deep breath and believe you can do it!

Thanks again guys. After the first flight I was OK. Once I was on board and in the air I settled down quick. Flying really calms me. Don't really like the crowd thing so I do try to do things to get my mind off of it. Do need the do the breathing exercises though.
Well I'm home and already I started. I went in the kitchen and saw my craft box on the table with paint scattered so what do I do but go into ahole mode and started complaining. I didn't yell or scream or have an angry out burst. But I still ruined our nice happy time and had my wife crying. So I saw this and put the box down and went and loved her up. Why do I always have to ruin everything by being *****y.. the rest of our day was good got Todd some Christmas shopping. And she doesn't know it but I got her Christmas present in my jacket last night I just hope the credit card bill doesn't come in before Christmas. Any way thanks again you guys are the best.
