Not sure if this is the right place to put this... But why do i associate S+x with Relationships? I've had multiple of one nighters and FWB and nothing happened after but i always had this feeling that even i slept with them they would like me more and we would be in a relationship. I long so much for a relationship that has meaning... And never seem to get it... I wonder if its because I give in or because of the BPD.. because i get a bit obsessive?

In someways you sound a little like me... Although, at the moment I'm burnt out on dating..

I wonder if you having sex right away with someone is telling you or confirming for you that they like you and a relationship is possible? That is very much me. If I have sex right away with someone it confirms for me that they like me and want to see me again, and if they don't they must not be interested in me. It's irrational thinking. What is often the case it just turns out to be a one night stand.

So I think you want a relationship, but also bpd may be interferring with ur perception or logic.

Exactly!! Im glad someone understands!!! Then i start the irrational thinking and over thinking like relationship, marriage blah blah it goes on and on! I hate the way i think some times.. i feel like its always irrational!

Before I was married...I used to do it to 'keep' them. Thought if I didn't they would take off. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't.
