I always say the wrong thing too. Around Halloween i told a little girl with an eyepatch she was the cutest little pirate. She had a lazy
eye. I've asked people when they are due to find out they werent pregant and many others. It happens. Don't beat yourself up. ((((I'mnotreal))))
Thanks for this!

I can feel your pain... even though I'm surrounded by people who 'say' they love me for who I am, and what not. I just plain don't believe them. I know they're just patronizing me and have some ulterior motive. They probably just think it's the 'right thing to say'.. I can't make anyone happy and tend to upset/tick off everyone in my path at one point or another.

So sorry you feel the way you do.. (((ImNotReal)))

you know what I've learned over a lifetime, I'mNotReal? Most of us have done or said something that can be construed as stupid or rude. ... it's human nature! It's not about mental illness or borderlineness. .. it's about just saying or doing the wrong thing. I don't know about you, but others have said or done this to me. I can get mad or indignant ... or I can recognize that I've done the same. If the person doesn't see that, then they aren't worth the effor to apologize. Take care!
Thanks for this!

I would think that being a pirate would feel empowering! "I don't have a medical issue--I'm really a pirate!!!"

Actually a sweet story!

No you are a beautiful person (we all are and i don't care what anyone says otherwise) who is suffering and thats just downright crappy. We all say things we don't necessarily mean - and the more we put pressure on ourselves the more things seem to come out wrong! Please keep talking though, a problem shared is a problem halved

I want you to know that I think that you are amazing! And strong!
What you put out there on your post about your thoughts are actually a very serious deep issue. I constantly say things like that in my head. Even years later, I will still blurt out loud things like that from things that happened years before...when I am alone. You were brave enough to state those thoughts were others can hear them. I lived in the dark with these things. Key thing though...how do we really stop doing it. It is such a natural response for me to make now. When I say them, I try to tell myself (out loud) things like '"Stop. You are wise." But, the old thought processes still wins. I've struggled with it for years, but I keep trying.
Thanks for this!
