I have so much going on right now and today I feel I just can't cope. I feel so stressed and keep lashing out. I just don't know where to turn right now

I know the feeling. Yesterday was a horrible day for me...but I did get through it... I believe you can, too. Have you been through DBT?

Try doing something that makes you feel good today. Light some scented candles, listen to soothing music, read an inspirational book, or work on a hobby that you love (crocheting, knitting, crafts, etc.). I will tell you that it will not erase the pain, but it will make it more tolerable. And the more you do it, the easier it gets.... I promise!

(((HUGS))) to you. Please let us know how you are doing later.

I hope that you feel better tomorrow!

It sounds to me like you were in a very reactive state when you wrote your post... Are you able to separate yourself from stress easily? Do you have any methods or skills that you can utilize in order to do so?

I like the idea of going to see family, like Vector suggested, or doing something soothing that you enjoy, like Whispers said.

Is there anything that worked for you in the past that may work today? Do you feel like doing those things or are you just past the point of wanting to do anything? Do you just want to lie down in bed and push away the world?

Where are you at now, are you feeling better?

Thanks,
HD7970ghz

Hey

Thank you

I am feeling a lot better now but thank you! I have a lot going on and I guess it kinda suffocated me.

No I don't really hav any skills to deal with such days...I am attending CBT soon and hopefully I will learn some there!

I know what you mean (((allme))). I drove myself to the edge of a mild panic attack this morning with no warning. One step at a time, right?

The next time it happens have a really cold shower, or, fill a bowl of cold water and put ice cubes in it. Dunk your face into the freezing water and do this for 30 seconds. It helps, believe me.

sometimes removing your mind from the situation and looking at it from a third persons perspective helps...thinking logically and realistically, and not through emotions

for you. I'm so sorry that you are feeling at your wit's end. Do you have a therapist that you can talk to? Can you call someone that you trust and just talk to them? I hope that things calm down for you.
