I'm trying to crack down on people manipulating me. My uncle have me for my birthday a piece of property he currently lives on. He said we would live with him for awile to get things established, then he would move away next spring.

But first has pressuring us to move asap. Second, now he wants us to live with a third person, saying the guy needs a place to live. This set up my manipulation flag so badly I threw things around and tried to cut myself. .
Now I'm trying to use "Wise Mind" from therapy, my uncle tries to help everyone, but he can be manipulative also... how to procede?

Um ... NO!

If the property is being given as a gift, it should be free and clear of any strings attached to it, and I'd be especially wary of someone (related or not) trying to foist a third party into the living arrangement!

You can stop this manipulation dead in its tracks by simply saying, thank you for offering me such a splendid gift, but I'm not comfortable accepting it!

Sincerely,
Pfrog!
