Yesterday my body became so numb/tingly, icy hot and in pain that I called the neuro and they said if I can’t stand it, go to ER. So I did. 4 hours later I was seen...
Soooo... MRI normal, blood normal, discharged at midnight even though I couldn’t feel my legs and was shuffle walking. I went to the counter and let them know I’d lost my balance getting dressed... asked if I wanted a wheel chair. Um I drove here... they wouldn’t let me drive home ONLY because they gave me Ativan for the MRI. Not because had no feeling *sigh* they had to voucher me a cab. Mom can’t see at night and I’m not about to call up my friend in Troutdale. I was trying to get them to understand I didn’t want to be released- I’m scared! But it’s black and white- if the labs say you’re fine, you’re own experience doesn’t matter. 😔
Today isn’t much better. I want to kick something but I don’t have the energy.

I am sorry Kiya I know how you feel. I have had a rough few days. Our daughter woke us up at 10 pm Friday night her boyfriend coked her and her dog she had to bite him to let go and she came to our house. Her dog ripped both screen doors and kept us mainly me up all night hubby left to try and sale the blazer. I had errands to run and I needed to make a cover for her dogs kennel that I had to just go buy.

Then I had to take her to the police station because the boyfriend called the police after she left and filed a report and kept texting her that she was going to be arrested. So we went to the station no warrant for her arrest thank god but the ding bat is thinking about going back to him.

It got me so upset and with lack of sleep I started having seizures no fun

Child, I had one of those knots on the same side I had the most pain. I'm sorry that you are going through that and I hope your therapist can work it out for you. Heat really helps it, but remember to not do it continuously.

Oh Kiya, I'm so sorry you are going through this. People at the ER infuriate me sometimes. Are you doing any better at all today? When I tell the people at the ER that I came alone and that I have no one to help me, it's like they don't believe it. I hope the numbness goes away soon. Please keep posting to us so we'll know what is happening with you.

Cake, please, please consider putting yourself first. I hope your daughter stays away from the abusive man. I truly believe she's addicted to him. Please take care of you. I don't want you to have seizures.

I had a perfectly lazy day yesterday. Belle and I watched tv all day and took a mental health break. The effexor hasn't started working yet, but the Pamelor is wearing off. I believe my speech pattern is back to normal. That's a good thing. I got my hair cut and my stylist told me I had really lost a lot of hair but I don't have a bald patch yet. Maybe it won't come to that.

Belle's feet didn't get cold enough for her to wear her socks. I'm going to have to proceed very slowly with them. I put one on her last night to see if it's the right fit. It's a small and it came all the way up to her "knee". She shook the whole time and was afraid to move until I took it off her.

I was sound asleep this morning and felt a "presence". I opened my eyes and saw four little black eyes staring earnestly at me. She was so close that I saw four instead of two!

Sooooo much worse.... this thing gets worse at night and has spread to right side. Shaking, crying, call in to on call dr. Body burning, stinging, loss of feeling in some places, freezing cold in others. Really scared.

So I did call 911 and went by ambulance. They tried to make me a *psych* patient!!!! I was flanked by 3 male security guards and a woman saying “you’re cleared medically” and “going to Red pod”, calling security over. 😡😳😡 omg I’m so mad!!! I yelled at them!!! The guy went to take my arm and put me in a wheel chair (I have male trauma) and I jerked my arm and started swearing at him. It nearly turned nasty. I yelled I was leaving and they finally let me- the oncall called right then and that turned the tables. I was on my way out the door knowing my mom would be here shortly. Mom will stay with me so they won’t treat me bad. I feel like the gal in “Brain On Fire” (book).

Soooo CT scan is normal (I hit my head in the shower yesterday so they had to take one... since they’re the ones who let me leave... &#128566. They were going to try to admit me just as a “fall risk”, but now I’m not at the level I was. I’ve had excedrin Ativan and potassium which all helped. I still can’t feel most of my body but there’s nothing they can do for me.im home and I go have the 24 hour EEG taped into my hair tomorrow. Yay.

Some of you know I have one brother. He is in the ER with colitis symptoms. I tried to tell him some of the things to watch for since I've got so many bowel diseases. He brushed me off though. I know it's because I have mental illness that he ignores me. He's been sick for two weeks and his wife just called and told me where they are. Just because you have mental illness does not negate your knowledge and intelligence! I am so tired of being treated like an idiot! He won't even talk to me in front of anyone else on the phone. There is no point in going to sit with them at the ER or I would force myself to go. I am so worried about him.

It's cold and damp here. The high is going to be 45 degrees.

I have a gyne. appointment tomorrow. I'll need pocket riders for that one. I'm already nervous about it.

Belle is in the recliner with her squeaky toy giving me bad looks for being on the computer.

It took the hospital 12 hours to get my brother back to a room in the ER yesterday. That's all I know. They didn't call me in the night to tell me what happened and it's too early to call them in case they are sleeping.

I have five Drs appointments this month. This gyne appt makes me the most nervous.

Belle is once again on the recliner giving me bad looks. She is so jealous of the computer. She likes to play or cuddle up and watch tv. She loves when we have company. She almost turns herself inside out being friendly.

i'm already out of critter food, they are eating 50 lbs of dog food a week,,, i have to find a way to deprive the late-comers... probably by sleeping

Belle and I cuddled up in the recliner and go nice and warm. We fell asleep and I almost missed the gyne appt!I made it there though and I survived it. Whew,
I don't have to do that for another year!

My brother was sent home and in my opinion, given the wrong meds. No one will listen to me, even though I tried to ask questions, so it's pointless to argue.

I remember that

Had a day from hell. First it's raining and raining hard and non stop. Second every appointment I had this week got changed whiched changed my plans. Third I left the house early to make sure I had enough time to get to the doctors. Because I use a walker a lady beat me to the door and the sign in sheet. She said traffic was bad then asked what time her appointment was the girl said 9:45 and she said when they called her they said 9:15 well when she walked in it was 9:25 so she was late. My appointment was 9:30.

Every time they took someone back she got madder and madder. Then she said some stuff to the girl. The next thing I know she's being called back.
I was mad. I looked at the clock and my appointment was an 1 hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time. I waited another 10 minutes before I said anything. Then the girl said well when they called to confirm her appointment yesterday they gave her the wrong time. I don't by it. She wanted to get in and out and out of the rain.

When I finally got called back it was 1 hour 25 minutes past my appointment time plus I was 10 minutes early. When the girl took my BP it was sky high I wonder why.

I got my prescriptions and left. The parking lot was flooded. I get to the pharmacy and they had bad news for me. The DEA came down hard on them Friday. There is a new prescription pad that the doctors need to use or send the class 2 electronically. They called my doctor they faxed her the new law etc. I just sat there and cried. They called 3 other pharmacies and none of them would accept the prescriptions. So back to the doctors to have her fill out new forms and have her date them for today plus she had my address wrong. Then I headed to the only pharmacy that was still accepting them all the whole time it's pouring rain and I am drenched. They filled both but would only give me one because it was to soon for the other one. I can pick it up on the 19th. Hopefully I can pick it up on the 19th. My rhemy contacted her IT people and she should be set up within the next 2 weeks to send schedule two prescriptions electronically. So I should not have this issue next month. But I left my house at 8:50 am and got home at 3:00 pm. I was soaked my hair is just now drying.

So if you take something like narco and your doctor gives you a paper prescriptions you might have trouble filling it. I almost had to pay cash for mine.

fortunately for me, my pharmacist called the doc and his little helper sent them over by Puter.... there is no 'change of plans' when one rides the little bus with Hugo~~~

EEG test... pseudo seizure on the table. No one knew what was going on. He ran for Eloise and it was pandaemoniumn. They got me unhooked while doing the usual neuro tests; look here, raise arm/leg, follow the light with eyes, open mouth smile breathe puff cheeks- and repeat for every person that came in. I was moving between involuntary muscle spasms (including treat and gagging for air, retching/dry heaving, curling in on myself), then thrashing uncontrollably. Body rigid, body lax, retch, gag, curl, twitch, catatonic states in between. More neuro tests. Blah!

I managed to get to both my appointments this week. I got a steroid shot in my hip yesterday. For some reason I am not seeing well at all and I just got new glasses in Sept! Anyway, I have an emergency appointment with the eye Dr. on Monday and I am very glad. It's a beautiful fall day here. The sun is shining. I have to try not to walk today or I would try to take Belle to the park. She is so afraid of riding in the van, but she is ok once you get where you're going. I hope you're all ok. I hope we hear from Liz and Christina soon.

I saw in the changes for insurance manual that something will be changing with the HRT. Not sure what... I think it will be going up. I am titrating off it, but I'm supposed to for 6 months. I'm only in month 2 I think. If it goes too high, I'll just have to spread it out more....

A warm hello to all!
I have been away and am just catching up here. Lots going on for everyone.

Some of you know my mother lives with us. She has been awaiting a second hip replacement. Her surgery date was in late Dec. However, due to a cancellation, she'd had her surgery a week ago yesterday. All went extremely well. She came home the next day. She in getting in-home PT for now.

I'd caught an upper GI virus from hell somewhere. It has taken me all week to recover. Still recovering.
