((((((((all)))))))))))
it's just weird... the fever is still 101(ish) and I don't exactly have symptoms.... like you think of fever (for me the first thing I think of is flu)... I did get a tiny bit scared last night (DON'T FREAK OUT, OK???) when I spat in the sink and there was a thread of what may have been blood. I did so a couple of times. But it wasn't enough to swipe with tissue to take in or anything. It could be just that my throat is raw and that coupled with my hard time swallowing, maybe it got a scratch. :/
It's hard to care when the doc's don't care. they said I could come in next week if it was still here. But last time this happened (as a side effect of Geodon, that even the PHARMACY didn't know - I found out later), I had a 99 fever for 21 days. The docs just shrugged. "I guess you could take an anti-biotic, if you want".
REALLY? Don't they know ANYTHING anymore???
so.... I dunno. thank you all for listening to me

no strep. "watch this over the next 5 days; if it gets worse or doesn't improve, we'll have to narrow out other things".

(Did I mention I also saw the towels and they are lovely?? - Cake, where are you??? Why aren't you posting about yourself??)

hugs, all!

I am here, tired of feeling sick, tired of tummy trouble then well you know what happened friday night. Stress is bad no matter what chronic illness you have.

I did sleep in this morning but was informed by my husband when he came home that I woke up and yelled at him to stop videoing me. Don't know what that was about don't remember it either.

I see the rhemy tomorrow plus it will near 100. I want to start embroidering all the towels I bought but getting everything set up can be a pain and when you just don't feel like moving ..... it's hard.

Lord I don't know how Liz does it.

Kiya, did they give you anything? Did they do the rapid strep test? I don't trust the rapid stress test.

Jan, how is the tooth? Are you feeling better?

Thanks everyone for the kind words regarding my towels. I have better pictures I just do not know how to post them. I used to not like to show people them because I was afraid they would say they look nice just so they would not hurt my feeling. It makes me feel useful when I finish one of them. Some of them have over 20,000 stitches and 15 different colors.

The Disney shirts are really cute and it really warmed my heart that my uncle was so excited with them and you could tell how proud he was to say his niece made them.

I was able to make a photo album on my page yeah me. I guess that is one thing good about not being able to sleep you can keep trying to work on something via computer that does not make noise.

Cakeladie: Your projects are awesome! I cross-stitch but I am not nearly as good at it as you are at embroidery! Beautiful! I do take great pleasure in completing a project, as well

Kiya: hope you feel better

Happy Hello to everyone else...

Cake, I also thought the doc said there were two tests: rapid and then they'd know for sure later. But the lab tech didn't say anything about knowing more later... just cleared me. Hurts pretty bad today, waking me up again. I might call back and confirm.
I have to be mom's taxi today :/ I could cry.

Interesting about yelling that at your husband! maybe you were dreaming?

I got some intermittent rest last night. My mouth throbs and burns. I do have some pain medicine that I'm using though I don't like the "floaty" feeling I get since I'm not the most coordinated person in the universe! We all know that or I wouldn't have broken my leg.

Taking my antibiotic with a milkshake makes me very sick.

A friend is going to stop by the store for me and get some more Pepsi, (which settles my stomach), and some mashed potatoes. Hopefully she can get some ice cream, too. Her car doesn't have a.c. and we don't want it to melt all over her car.

Thank you so much for asking. Thank you so much for caring. You guys are awesome!

Kiya, there are 2 strep test. One is the rapid test which they can tell in a few minutes if you have it and the other one they rub the thing they stick down your throat in a petrie dish and wait for it to grow.

The rapid test is not always accurate. I don't know how many times I have taken the kids in to do the rapid test and they say no they are fine and 3 days later we are back in the doctors office running another test and confirming it with the lab.

I hope you feel better.

hugs

I called and confirmed that they only did the rapid - and will have to do another one (culture) in 4-6 days if this doesn't clear up. :/ GRRR. But I think this has gone into a sinus infection.

meanwhile, i'm driving my mom to all her appointments - sick as I am , and I can't stand up and tell her no. :/ she'll cancel her knee surgery and then blame me for the rest of her life....

Cake, your towels are beautiful! Have you ever considered selling your work? There's a crafts social group here. I can't remember if you are a member. Please consider joining if you aren't.

To everyone who is not feeling well, I hope things improve soon.

Cake, the reason I've been able to do so much while I'm home is that I'm sleeping 10-12 hours per night and taking breaks whenever I need to. There's no way I will be able to do this stuff when I go back to work next week. Then I'll barely be able to drag my fanny up the steps to get in the house at night.

I posted in the pets forum about having to put my Rottie, Ivan, down yesterday. That meant having to dig a hole for him when I got home. Big dog = BIG hole. I'm aching today and emotionally blech. I suspect it's part the physical exertion of digging and sadness over Ivan. I hope to heck it's not the start of a flare.

((((( Liz & Ivan )))))

I am so sorry for your loss. I'm so sorry you had to bury him. I've had to do that and it makes the pain in your heart worse. Please accept my condolences, dearheart.

I think all of us are not feeling good right now. I had to go in for more test today on my kidneys. Not looking forward to the outcome and since the doctors office is closed on Friday I have to wait till Monday for the results.

So you guessed it, I can't sleep and I can't make to much noise cleaning because hubby is asleep he has work tomorrow but is off on Friday.

Plus it's hot has hell here and we do not have A/C

For future, if you're on the computer (vs phone) when that happens you can hit Control Z and it will undo the erase and give you your text back.
Sorry that happened!!!! I used to copy my posts every few sentences for that reason...
