I used to get a letter flashing beside my welcome note when I signed on. Now, I get message notifications in my email but no letter when I sign on.
 Where'd my letter go!?

Mine always disappears once I've picked up my PMs.. is that what you're talking about?

Nope, I've got unread messages there and it doesn't blink. Some sat there for a few days until I checked my inbox on a fluke.

Interesting.... of course DocJohn has the answer...
but do your other emoticons work also, in the forums? Did you change any of your internet options? Browser? Javascript?

Some Web browsers turn off animated GIFs after X number of times it is shown. This is a feature of your Web browser, so you have to dig into its options to see where to turn it back on.

You may be right Doc...but it does this in both IE and Netscape. I used to be able to get them in both. It just turned off one day. Ah well...whatever....the letter always made me crazy anyway.
I miss the letter anyway...lol
