A few times now, in my haste, I have posted and submitted without entering a subject heading. When I went back, the entire post was gone.

What is the possibility of receiving a warning when doing this, or when going back, to find the original post still there?

I must be honest, it frustrated me No warning - lost post because I had just admitted something "out loud" for the first time, and when it was lost, I didn't have the courage to re-write and post again. No warning - lost post

Awww that sucks. Sometimes if I have made a long post, I copy the text before I submit it, so that if it is lost, all I have to do is paste it in the new reply window and re-submit it...

From time to time I do this: lose of post... I use the BACK arrow to find the page.

When I use the BACK arrow, I do go back to the correct page, only this time the message box is blank and my original message floating in cyberspace.

There is somewhere in your profile edits where you can click a box to make you always preview your messages.

At the current moment it's exact location escapes me. I will search for it later.

Hi there

I can already preview my messages. I normally do, since I have fingers that think less than my mouth!!

It seems, that because the subject is missing, there is no option but to return to the blank page.

This has happened to me from choosing to preview.

Anyways - I will be more careful No warning - lost post

Sometimes I will highlight and copy what I have before I send in case it gets lost!

I was making a reply to a post earlier and that came up missing. Like you, I rarely have energy to go back and do it over again. One thing different is that in my reply it still had the default "Re: Title", so that was there.

If you don't post a Subject title, the screen you get says it's unable to proceed... perhaps you thought it was the normal screen of acceptance, and you moved on to another thread or forum without realizing it?No warning - lost post

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
