just need a little emotional support

Haven't heard from older brother in months he decided to call tonight to let me know he was going in the AM for kidney cancer surgery. He is a lot older than I am so we have never been that close He is the one brother I really look up to just thought I would get this out there for my own sanity. Thanks! I am a little torn should I go see him or just send a card? Guess I will just wait and see how the surgery go's. Thanks again for letting me vent it sure does help when the tears fall.

It's good that he called & you had a chance to talk. If it's not a major hardship for you, I think you will probably be happier in the long run if you go. Now ... how did that strike you?

You alone know whether you should go. What does your gut say? You could discuss it with him, too.

are you scared is that why you don't want to see him sick?
for me i would go cuz i wouldn't know if that would be the last time i see him, but thats just me. (((hugs)))

Update, I got a call they got all the cancer! I bought a silly get well card cause that's the way I am think I will go visit tomorrow at the hospital and send card to house as I don't think he will be in long enough to mail it there. Thanks for the support,
