this seems to be the only forum to leave a message in!!!! I have left messages in si, and others and have even tried to start a new chat room hoping to get support and nothing.... I am just very frustrated right now with it!!!

Sorry. I do not think there are many people on here that SI so they do not understand. I am more bulimic that SI but resort to it when something happens at work that makes me feel worthless, a bottom feeder, trapped, and increases my self hatred. I have not burned in a couple og months but at work I will open up an paper clip and graze the end up and down my arm. It does not cut or leave a scar. It is just enough to cause light scratches and gives me the pain I need to self punish. I know we are not suppose to do anything that resembles SI but it can be hard when it is a go to coping mechanism.

My T is more concerned with me beating myself up when I resort to old habits. He says it is understandable while I am healing and th urges will diminish over time and they have.
Thanks for this!

I know that if people do not SI they do not understand it, but you would think on the si forum they would give support!!!!

im sorry you are having problems getting support. there are actually tons of people who SI on this site. are you leaving enough information in your thread for people to respond to? like this thread you don't say very much...but then again, here it gets to the point...but maybe in other threads you may need to give more information for people to respond to, maybe? I don't know what makes some threads take off and others left behind. I tend not to get many responses to threads I have posted so I cant give you many clues on how to post a successful request for help but then I see other posts that go on for pages and wonder how they do it. maybe simply stating that you really would appreciate some support in your post would get people to comment. you could always PM me if you need to.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
