Everybody hates me, bc I have chaos in my life. I give up. I
am being judged by my ex and my own mother bc of illness. I'm just over it, now thinking back as of recent, I did enjoy those dayz when I wuz emotionless. I just don't give a **** anymore.

It is okay to not give a s***. I don't give a crap most days and I survive. You have to do what's right for you. Take care of yourself first, then deal with others. And what your ex thinks of you is irrelevant. That's why he's your ex! ![]() |

Hey gal. I agree with 1776. Take care of yourself first. If you don't do it, who will.

gal,
I struggle with knowing how to take care of myself, or what safe means, when people say it. So I worked with my case worker to come up with a list of how I'm going to do just that. I'll share it with you. It's my check list on days when I'm not here right now, amongst other things. Eat. 3 times a day. If you can, make it healthy, if not whatever. at least put food in your body. Drink. Drink water. I forget the recommended dose but I aim for 4 or 5 glasses a day. Sleep. No more than 9 hours a day, no less than 6 if that's possible. Go Outside. If you can. I struggle with this, so even just putting a foot out the door, or going for a walk, or an appointment, or something. If I can't, I don't beat myself up about it, but I try to do it at very least. Take Your Meds. Always, on schedule, no overdosing or under dosing. Take as prescribed. Hygiene. Brush your teeth. Shave. shower or at least clean your face. It's amazing how much this helps. Clean the House! This is my most important, because for me having a tidy house means having a tidy mind. If things are messy I'm automatically in a bad mood. And last but not least. Keep a Routine. Keeping a schedule today makes it easier to get up tomorrow. Hope that helps you figure out ways you can take care of yourself. ![]()
