I don't want to study. I can't enjoy life. There's no way in hell that I will go to university or college. I'm smart too. Smarter than most in my class. So what the hell?.

I don't know where my life is going to go. Suicide isn't an option anymore. I won't do that ever. I don't think of myself as depressed and yet I got a 71 (severe depression) on the depression test. Believe me that I'm not depressed.

What is going to happen to me?

I can't stand this. I can't stand people. I always think to myself, how can a teacher spend their days teaching a whole class when I can't even get up in the morning? What do they have in them that I don't..

Uhm. Interesting. I have a lot of the symptoms that you do and I'm most definitely depressed. Why do you think you aren't?

Yes, you are smart, and that Cat in your avatar is running directly to an College education as well. You are belittling your self and college because of fear. Fear is a safe place to hide in, when being negative about every thing.

Now face your Adventure, and follow that Cat!
Thanks for this!

Google "anhedonia". It's like depression but you don't feel sad. You just feel nothing. It's the main symptom of anxiety or schizophrenia such as that and schizoid.

My psychiatrist says I'm not depressed because he says I don't feel sad and yet I attempted suicide so I don't know. My psychologist says I am though.

I'm getting a new psychiatrist because mine just doesn't want to prescribe needs it seems and wants me to stay on my current ones.

But the hell with everything god damn

" My psychologist says I am though." and this is what you are scared of. No wonder you want to change psychologists. Accept yourself and what you can do, and follow that Cat!
Thanks for this!

As far as I know it is not the main symptom of anxiety or schizophrenia...anxiety can cause one to feel empty due to getting exausted from the anxiety but the main symptom of anxiety is feeling anxious even to the point of panic when you're not actually in danger. Also from what I understand people with schizophrenia have flat effect sometimes which is like not really feeling much I admit though I am no expert but that's what I've gathered from what I've read and learned in psychology.

It actually is a symptom of major depression:

Depression and Anhedonia | Psychology Today

I've had major depression for quite some time and struggle with that feeling quite a lot, been dealing with it lately as well..your psychiatrist or whatever seems to be somewhat ignorant.

I suppose I don't understand how that is a 'safe' place, being stuck in such a place can be quite damaging...so I guess I don't perceive it as safe.

No college is boring. Studying is boring. That's what I mean. I'm not afraid of something that I don't care about.

Boredom = Anger. It is your Negativity the keeps you fixed in one place. Negativity often is rooted in Fear.
