Feeling terribly out of control. Negative thoughts abounding! Feel overwhelmed by too many situations past and present. Struggling for some self control in my thoughts. This is creating pain inside of me. Hard to know what to do right now. Talking today with counselor for some reason didn't feel very helpful. Felt pressed and too much striving. Think I wanted to hear reassurance. It is okay! You are not doing so badly. You are doing some things well. Hang on. Hope for change. Maybe tomorrow will be better. Encouragement and support wanted.

Hello pianogirlplays: It's been a few days now since you posted this Thread. I hope that you are now feeling better. I unfortunately often feel overwhelmed by negative self-deprecating thoughts. Sometimes I just begin to feel like it is just too difficult to keep going on day-after-day. Being here on PC, replying to members' Threads helps me. I hope you too have something in your life that helps you... perhaps playing the piano? I send warm thoughts your way with the hope that you can begin to find inner peace.

Hi PianoGirlPlays. I'm sorry I didn't see your post sooner. I'm sure you are doing some things really well now. I feel the same way sometimes, you put it so clearly when you said striving. I hope you're feeling better now.

I've recently felt overwhelmed by too many situations past and present. probably past traumas,triggers and fears.
I hope you are feeing some relief.
I like how you were able to use reassuring words.
It is ok. You are not doing so badly. You are doing some things well.
Hang on. Hope for change. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
Lets continue to give this encouragement to ourselves and others.
It is exactly what I want and need too.....compassion.

Welcome to my world...embrace the pain...embrace your loss, embraces it all...it means you re alive, you have survived your traumas and get ready to push through and LIVE. Look and talk to people around you, help others..it won t ease your pain but it will make you feel more thankful
