I hate how I feel. I've ran out of medication. I can't afford to pay for them myself. So, I placed on a med. assistance program and it could take 4 - 6 wks to get them. I feel lazy, tired, down, miserable at times. I burst into anger at a drop of a hat which really sucks. Some days I don't even feel like getting out of bed. I've gotten my old spending habits back. My wife and I are bickering a lot more and I hate myself. So, I guess what i'm trying to say is, i'm back on the old depression wagon. Yippie ****ing skippy!!!!! I was doing fine on the meds. then I ran out. I find myself medicating with beer.
I ahve a lot of stress right now. My dad was in the hospital, I have finals in school. I want to apply for the EMT program but not sure because of my past duii's. Oh yeah i have a crappy job. But at least my family still loves me!!!!!!!

Have you tried your county's mental health assistance program? I used to see a pdoc and get meds for free. The last option would be to go to the ER and get meds. They can't turn you away. The side effects coming off suddenly can get a lot worse than you have described. Please get help somewhere quick before things get any worse! Hang in there and keep posting.
Thanks for this!

Right there is one of the scariest of statements! You need assistance to bridge the gap to the assistance. I don't know if you have it in you to hunt down that gap assistance (for example, NuckingFutz' suggestion), but try to make your loved ones know what's at stake and enlist their help.

Wishing you the best dealing with the immediate challenge!

I'm sorry things are going so bad for you right now. Have you tried going to the local DHS or MHMR? I know how it is. I haven't been able to go to the dr or get meds in a long time and I'm doing the same things as you are. But when I went to my local MHMR they said I did qualify but I'm going on a 2 year waiting list but they did give me a free clinic that I can go to. I wish the best of luck to you! Hugs!

You might see if there is something comparable (yet probably not as good) that your doc can substitute until the other meds come in....Just a thought.
