Hey there iamspecial,

I would suggest maybe seeing if you can see another GP in the meantime... maybe a different GP will be able to say weather or not to keep going with your anti-depressant.

If you can't do the above.... call to make an app with your GP and say you are feeling worse on this med and think it is defo not working and that you think you need a new one as clearly this med is not for you.

Have you got any unwanted side effects or thoughts?

Hope your doing ok
Thanks for this!

Bless your heart ~ It's obvious that the dose is either too low, or else this antidepressant just isn't for you. It should have kicked in by now -- usually they start working within 6 weeks. I'm surprised that you haven't felt a LITTLE better by now. So you're going to need either a higher dose or something different.

Call and make an appointment right now so you can get in when he gets back -- or else find another doctor. You do need to be taken care of. I'm sorry you feel so horrible -- I've felt like that before. But my antidepressants have always worked for me, thank goodness.

Please try to hang on if you're going to see your same doctor. Just remember that this is a temporary feeling --- you WILL feel better after you get your medication straightened around. I PROMISE. And know that we all sympathize with you. God bless you and take care. Hugs, Lee

special.... remember what I suggested to you in chat last night?
Well see a different doctor and get different meds. If you feel a danger to yourself, like at anytime whatsoever, GO to A&E. Please.

I like you, you ARE special (and you make me laugh, heh...), we cannot always trust our emotions. If I lost you I would not last long. Because I care about you. So you ARE special. Even if you don't feel it (see, the emotions thing again). Believe in what I (and others)-are saying. Believe.

Thanks for this!
