I just wanted to share my disbelief, if you will, that I have gone 7 days without feeling like my only option was suicide. I know it might said trivial to some but this is HUGE for me. I cannot remember a time when I have gone this long feeling like life will be okay.
I know I still have work to do. But, I am just amazed that I am feeling this better.
I never believed I would be able to get out of the pit of depression I was in.
Just wanted to share....
Thanks!

that doesn't sound trivial at all! my brother lives with suicidal thoughts more than he doesn't. he's tried to explain to me how hard it is.

when he got really depressed this last time he said that it hurt because, since his son's been born, he knows he can't do that anymore. he said it was like his feel good pill, and he couldn't even think like that anymore, and it was much harder. it really helped me to understand.

i think it's wonderful that you're where you are right now. another part of your journey that i'm so glad to be sharing.

love,

kd

Oh so awesome sj!!!

{{{{{{sj}}}}}}

Keep taking small steps... ride the inertia of this toward even more improvement... and if you have a small setback, remember that you CAN GET THERE and remember how good it feels to be there... this is now another coping skill you can keep in your toolbox.

This is a huge thing, not trivial. I know and understand, I am still in that process myself right now.
